Ashu, Ambe and I were named the great trio when we where growing up. Just like any trios...the is always the good, the bad and the ugly. Ashu was the good, always soft spoken, laid back and peace maker.His popular sayings to me is 'Buddy..let it go menn', 'take it easy Buddy', 'try to forget about it Buddy','I will see how I can fix it Buddy'. Ambe was the ugly. Styreotypical, anglosaxon,vindictive and steadfast guy. His word was his bond. If he said 'no', even mother Theresa cannot change him. No amount of abeg ya ya ya ya can make him change his mind. I (Buddy) was the bad one.Always in trouble and always breaking the rules. Always late and never let go. When an authority approaches us with a frowned face, Ambe and Ashu will jus start asking...'Buddy what have you don this time'. I could not even keep tract of how many girl friends I had. Ashu was tied of listening to different stories from girls. However, we had certain things in common. We made good grades, we were very ambitious and we all wanted to travel out of Cameroon someday (fall bush). So...Jackie..you are married to the best of the great trio. The good one. My girlfriend keeps telling me everyday how I am a very good guy. If the worst of the great trio is complemented as a very good guy, I assure you Jackie that you are married to a very very very very fine gentleman.
