Your story, is very touching and inspiring. I too, lost a beautiful baby girl named, Deanna, on March 30th, 2008. Today, I was feeling unsure and a bit mad a at God for taking my baby away from me........a baby I desperately wanted with all my heart. It isn't fair. My baby would have had a great life with us....but now she's in heaven with Jesus. As long as I live, I will never understand why we're apart. | I saw your link on Cafemom so came to visit your site. I am so sorry about the loss of your precious angel. I absolutely LOVE how you explain how people say you are so strong yet you don't see it. I feel the same way! I never thought of it as God carrying me though & that is so true! My thoughts & prayers go out to you. I think losing our babies is the hardest thing in the world to go through. But I am glad to see that you are leaning on God to give you the "peace that passes all understanding". He is such a great God & will help us when we cry out to him.

| My Mom is a survivor,
or so I've heard it said. But I can hear her crying at night when all others are in bed. I watch her lay awake at night and go to hold her hand. She doesn't know I'm with her to help her understand. But like the sands on the beach that never wash away... I watch over my surviving mom, who thinks of me each day. She wears a smile for others... a smile of disguise! But through Heaven's door I see tears flowing from her eyes. My mom tries to cope with death to keep my memory alive. But anyone who knows her knows it is her way to survive. As I watch over my surviving mom through Heaven's open door... I try to tell her that angels protect me forevermore. I know that doesn't help her... or ease the burden she bears. So if you get a chance, go visit her... and show her that you care. For no matter what she says... no matter what she feels. My surviving mom has a broken heart that time won't ever heal. |

| I just read your storey and I am so so sorry for your loss!!!!...My neibor lady had a little girl with trisomy 13 and she was on life support but came off life support after a couple weeks and they brought her home to die but she was in so much pain they couldn't lift her very much and when she cryed it was barley a cry they had to give her morphin every 5 hrs. the Mom went through a really hard time She said how she wished that she had taken her off like support when the Dr's wanted her too so that she would'nt have sufferd!!! | I had a little girl who had Trisomy 18 and lived for 2 days so I can somewhat relate to your situation. We were told she had T18 after our 20 week ultrasound. I had a 21 month old son at the time so I am also dealing with how to help him through the loss, etc.
