I remember Abdul Rashid bin Mohd Yusope who signed in earlier.I recall that he was in the Boy Scouts when our Scoutmaster was a Mr Lee Swee Poh.Good to know that he is well. | Comments: | Well since I do not relish being branded "ghost", I have to pen sth in the guestbook. But make no mistake...I am a lady (can guess from my name?) and definietly not an alumnus of ACS (Ayam Churi Sayur). My four elder brothers studied there..learnt how to churi durians, rambutans, guava - everything but sayur. I was from MGS - Mee Goreng Sejuk - class of 78. My eldest brother claimed to be the top boy of ACS in 1970 but strangely I could not find his name - TAY KENG HOCK - anywhere. My second brother is TAY HEAN HO, third brother TAY KENG HUAT and of course my fourth brother who has signed this guest book is TAY TIAN SENG. He is rehabilitating from a serious near fatal accident which resulted in spinal injury. If U remember any of them, pls write to either my 4th bro or me. I am working in Spore after having completed my HSC in GBS and then graduating from NUS a loong looong time ago.

I was in Form 5, b or a. Cant recall. The head prefect was Pang Ah San. Ya, I met Kamal in s'pore once. I met Liew Teck Huat(a lawyer) and Ah San (doctor?) too. I met John Lam too. All these many years ago. Anyone from class 74? Can't meet you coz I'm on wheelchair due to spinal injuries but can email me when free. I look thru' and only remember some names only. Bye. |

| Comments: | What a great site. I was simply searching Yahoo for 'Tranquerah' and found ACS Class of 74. It sure brings back good memories. I was in class 79 (5 years your junior, he he) but sure is nice to read about the good old days. BTW one of my class 79 who is rather famous is Charles Cham, who is an artist and has a studio called 'The Orangutan House'. I'm the least famous one, rather quite and unasuming, at least thats what my teachers said of me. I'm currently in Cardiff in the midst of completing auite a useless (I think) PhD. I sure miss good old Malacca and all its charms. Just hope there'll be more updates and postings to keep the website alive. |
