I LOVE Salvatore Adamo!!! My heart sings when I listen to him! Adamo is phenomenal and unique, with an incomparable talent! I attended his concert in San Francisco some years ago, and it was the best concert in my life! Does anyone know if Salvatore Adamo is planning to come to America again? He has A LOT of fans here! I check his calendar of concerts periodically and see mostly Belgium and France. So, my other question to all of you, fans, is the following: Are there possibly other versions of Adamo's concert schedule that include the U.S., Canada, Japan, etc.? If so, where do I find them? Many years later I had to bring back those days from my youth to try fulfilling the empty (then) present and he too came back with them to my life... I still loved his music… he left again when I let go of those dreams, I had focused on them the wrong way. Now, many years later they are back, because I finally learned how “to read” the happiness of those long gone years. I learned to get just what I need out of them, and he is back to stay. TRÈS CHER ADAMO, il y a quarante ans, j'écoutais vos chansons sans trop porter attention aux paroles. J'aimais votre voix et le rythme de vos chansons, et surtout je vous trouvais tellement beau!! Aujourd'hui, je vous trouve encore plus beau et vos messages d'amour, d'amitié, d'espoir et de paix que vous transmettez par l'entremise de vos chansons et poèmes me touchent énormément. Je vous ai vu quatre fois en concert (à Montréal et à Ottawa) et, à chaque occasion, j'ai été éblouie par votre perfomance indescriptible. | Comments: | Anyone like juan "el peruano" can find great part of ADAMOs LYRICS at his own homepage, www.adamosalvatore.com, where many times he even sings in the background.
Then as you all now - if you are not totally new using the internet - there are many SEARCH-functions on the webb, for ex. I prefer Yahoo Search, where you can find every artist on the planet. Got again an "Adamo-high" today, so I wrote down from his webb-side the lyrics of "Viens, viens ma brune.." I love this song, it´s from 1965, the year I was au-pair in the Paris-area and after that I fell in love with Adamo´s music At "Gare du Nord" in Paris, before the train left back to Stockholm, I bought one of his earliest live-concert LP, which contains all his most famous songs. |

| Comments: | Absolutely magnificent. Salvatore Adamo has changed my life through his beautiful music. I have made many new friends throughout the world, who have the same interests. It is nice that someone took the time to do a site for the English speaking countries as well as the others. I hope some day there will be an English speaking fanclub for us as well. I am thrilled to have tickets to the concert in Montreal and Quebec. It is a dream to be able to see him in person.

I´m totally IN LOOOOOOOVE with Adamo, since I discovered his music in the 60´s. I was au-pair in Normandie -68 and after that trip my head was full of Adamo and I bought 3 LP:s at "Gare du Nord"-station before I took the train back to Finland, where I have grown up. Now I´ve lived since 70´s in Stockholm. So through www.lyrical.nl - all lyrics in alphabetical order, great site! - I suddenly found myself listening to my ALL TIME FRENCH SINGER-POET-FAVOURITE Salvatore Adamo! His lyrics are so "magnifique", I both laugh and cry, listening to his lyrics, I just listened to the German-Adamo-song of your webb, various times and my tears just began to fall, it is so beautiful! "AAAAAMOOOOOUREEEUUUUX...D´UNE SOURIIIIIREEE..." first, of course, I listened and sang myself to the opening song of your webb, like more than 20 times - soon it will be 30 (!) - a fantastic song, I would like to have it myself! And THANK YOU...mille grazie.. for the lyrics of "Coeur en bandouliere" I searched for the lyrics, but couldn´t find it on the lyrics on the main Adamo-site. THE MAN - ADAMO - is really fenomenal, think he sings in so many languages and he sounds so great in every language, a very exceptional guy, with a BIG BIG PUMPING HEART, a very warm personality! I also speak 7 languages so Adamo is an IDEAL POET-SINGER in that meaning, too. FRENCH (went to French school), Spanish, Italian, English, German, besides Swedish and Finnish. Chacune de tes chansons est un bout de ma vie, j'ai grandi avec toi, aussi bien physiquement qu'intellectuellement, tu m'as appris la tolérance, le partage, la bonté et la gentillesse, même si cette dernière n'est pas toujours payée en retour, elle satisfait notre coeur! Mais à force de donner son coeur Salvatore, il lui arrive des accidents, aolors surtout soigne toi bien et sois un peu moins gentil, on te pardonne par avance, reviens vite dans le sud de la France le climat est parfait et il existe de tout petits théâtre qui t'acueillerait sans problème et surtout avec moins de fatigue!!!!! de tout coeur avec toi surtout en ce moment ELIANE |

| Comments: | I have lived in the US for twenty five years, and it pains me to see that Adamo is not popular, and that his songs are not aired. I was born in Egypt, and live there until a young adult.Adamo was and is my absolute favorite. His old songs still bring a smile to my face every time I listen. The few CDs I own are played over and over. I wish record companies would carry more of his music. I think that Adamo does not sing in English because.. I don't know, I like it better in French. I think the French language is more poingnant and gets to heart of it.

| Comments: | As a kid growing up in the late 60s and early 70s, I absorbed (albeit unconsciously) many songs of Adamo...My wonderful father used to play them over and over again when we were on holiday in Portugal and Spain, rather like a teenager! I still have my school Russian exercise book in which he wrote out from memory in his perfect French the words to one of his favourites, 'Toi l'amour te ressemble'... Daddy died last year nobly, after contracting cancer, and though I hadn't heard a note of Adamo for nigh on 35 years, I felt compelled to track the songs down again, which I managed to do in Virgin Oxford St. I must have looked stupid standing at a listening post there with the tears streaming down my face! How the memories came flooding back! How deeply this music had sunk into me without my ever realizing it! Thank you, Adamo...you were an important part of my youth, and I never knew it.
I would love to hear from any English fans particularly, as it seems to me that Adamo is still virtually unknown in my native country. Nic Gayle |

| Comments: | Salvatore,je bent een rasechte zanger en entertainer.Ik was pas 13 jaar toen ik de eerste liedjes van je hoorde .Muziek vol poëzie en levenswijsheid:tuinman van de tedere liefde ( Brel).Ik leerde heel veel Frans door je liedjes te beluisteren en te vertalen.Nu ben ik 55 jaar en nog steeds enthousiast bezig met jouw muziek.Jouw muziek is tijdloos en bezorgt mij enorm veel luistergenot.Tijdens moeilijke dagen werkt jouw muziek helend:door de pareltjes van liedjes te beluisteren,werd ik opgewekt.Een depressie kwam ik te boven door die droomliedjes te horen en er levenslessen uit te trekken.
Tot mijn spijt verneem ik nu dat je onwel bent geworden en alle concerten afgezegd werden... Verzorg je en maak nog maar jaren nieuwe teksten vol met levenswijsheid en ook humor draag je hoog in het vaandel. Hopelijk kunnen we na enkele maanden weer concerten in Vlaanderen bijwonen .
