Peggy, my name's Steve and I found your website while researching for a client of mine. He is a portrait artist and I'm designing a web portfolio for him.
Firstly I would like to say that I found the layout of your site pleasantly 'refreshing' - I like the non-complicated approach and the use of the colour green. If I could, I would like to offer a couple of observations/suggestions on the site. I don't mean them to be in any way critical of your website designer - they've done a great job. These are just a couple of observations like I would hope that someone would pass on to me. When i first decided to drop a quick note (because I like the use of green on white) I wasn't sure where to click. The link isn't really distinguished until 'after' it's clicked when it becomes underlined. If it were me ( I know, I know....) I would add a couple of pixels padding to the main 'blurb' on the home page to seperate it from the border. It seems a bit cluttered. Lastly (yeah yeah.... only 3 comments), when clicking on a thumbnail the new window opens with a left and top margin showing white (at least for me anyway) but no other margin. I would get rid of that as it looks out of place (or missed). Please don't take this as a negative Email, I get a good feel from the site a like the way It's presented. I'm making these comments in the same way that I would hope to receive feedback on my work. All the best for the future....
