It's been about two months since we've seen each other, so I'd thought I'd write you & let you know what's going on in this neck of the woods (namely, Wetlands!) First off, we had J Mascis featuring Mike Watt &Ron Asheton (legendary guitarist of Iggy Pop & the Stooges) for 2 nights (4/10-4/11), and their wall of sound from their Marshalls stacks made me feel like I had my chest blasted open! Also, guess who is back at MSG on 5/8? Your fave band, AC/DC!!!! That's right,love, Angus & the boys will come back to NYC to rock the Garden one more time!! Well, once again, the club is closed tomorrow, so after work I'm heading to WWF New York to catch the pay-per view wrestling show,"Backlash!" Also, I bought another electric guitar-a Fender Standard Strat (like the one Crispian Mills,formerly of one of my fave band Kula Shaker, plays.) B4 signing off, the next time you hear from me, I'll be attending the Guitar Study Center at the New School University (during May, I'll be saving money for summer courses in guitar & flute, and if it all goes well, I'll plan for courses in the fall.) for you April. I met you at the Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, when you played there Aug. 4, opening for Bob Log III .I was totally impressed by your performance. you rock canada style. I am friends with Reza and jarome. i thought it was pretty amazing how you all had a reunion that evening. having lived to gether there twoyears prior at the Green Tortus hotel. soon there after I came to NYC, to vist my good friends in Brooklyn. Two of my oldest and dearest friends are now playing with Esharp's band Ill Ease as they plan a tour of DC,Philly, and the midwest. i picked up the issue of Venus with the interview with the Liz Sharp. In that article she mentionsAlex Holden, a skilled comic book artist, and Caleb Seavey, who has been playing music with liz for the past three years. Caleb is one of my best friends, and an amazing artist in his own right.
