I realize our skinny friends feel they would like to commiserate and empathise by saying, "I know what it's like too....I'm skinny and bony. People always tell me to eat and make fun of me for being thin." Ummm..... no. I feel for you girlies, but it's not the same. People make fun of you because they are jelaous, not because they are disgusted. Also, boys still like skinny girls, I don't care how 'boyish' you think you look. Let's face it, if you ask a guy what he likes about women, what you get is a description that is very near Ru Paul. On being Asian, there is the expectation that we are to be thin little rail jobs -- it's in our genes, right? If you're a skinny Asian girl, that pretty much summs up all that is deemed beautiful by our stereotype (even within our own community). Trust me, being a F.A.G. is nowhere near the same.
