| Comments: | After coming to Gabriel's for over 20 years and recommending it to everyone I know, my sister and I just had a horrible experience there during the recent Allentown Art Festival. We waited 1.5 hours for our food while watching other patrons walk in, be fed, pay their bills and walk out. We dealt fairly with both the waitress and then the manager regarding our complaints, only to be met with hostility from the manager. I've never, ever been treated that way in any establishment, especially one that I've spoken so highly of so often. I understand the weekend was an incredibly busy one, however a female manager of such an establishment should be one who can handle such situations resolving them in a win-win solution for both parties instead of driving a solid patron (with many friends and families) away. I won't forget it. |

| Comments: | Today was my first visit to this restaurant and I was thoroughly impressed by the service. We had a party of 12 at lunch time. I was able to make reservations and pre-order food. Everything was set up and the food was ready and on the table when we walked in. I defnitely plan on paying another visit to the Gate at a later date. Thanks! |

My friend and I were seated relatively quickly, only to watch two tables (one with 7 people and the other with 5) sit down after us and get their food before us. My friend finally got her sandwich after 40 minutes, and the angry waitress told me my order would be right out. Well, after 25 MORE minutes, I told her to forget it. I know it was St. Pat's Parade day, but come on! It wasn't any busier in there than it is on a regular Friday night. Shape up Gate, I would have expected much more than having to wait over an hour for chicken fingers that were never coming! |

| Comments: | I have been to Gabriel's four times prior and had an enjoyable exsperience, however apon my fith visit (this evening) my company and I decided we would be unlikely to ever return to this resturant again. I dont know if it was the boths that felt like they were going to fall or if it was the horriable service but this quante littel allen town resturant has lost its charm. The waitress was very unatentive, spending ,much time ignoring us (her only tabel) so she could chat with a co-worker and snack on foods. We were served fries that were cold and tryed out and when we complained she asked condesendingly would she could do to about it. She took it apon herself to being us refils to us of our watered down iced tea, for which we lator found we were charged $2 a glass, coming to the toal of $10 and some change for 6 drinks for alone. I will admit my sandwich was enjoyable, but that was it. I no longer see Gabrials is a nice cozy eatery with an individual vibe, I know see a cheap and avirce company who dose not care about how poorly their staff represents them and who over charges the customer. I hope others read this and head my warning not to be fooled by the quant and charming fasad of Gabriels as it is really a very greedy company and not worth what you pay! |

On Fat Tuesday my wife and I stopped there for wings (of course), broccoli alfredo and pasta primevera. Outstanding. Can't wait to stop back for more wings after the Sabres/Islanders game. |
