| Comments: | I live in Ontario, Canada. I have a vested interest in the wolf packs of Algonquin Provicial Park in Norther Ontario. The PARK as it is known by the visitors that love her is also known as the wolf capital of eastern North America. It has a population of approximately 250 wolves at peek times and dwindles down to about 150 due to parvo and killings outside the park. Every Thursday during the month of August the park staff take visitor on a public wolf howl. I was grateful to be on one of these howls a couple of years ago. The staff seek out a pack along highway 60 the only road that runs through the park. Can you imagine 300 cars parked on both sides of the highway and about 6 to 700 people not making a sound waiting to hear the ultimate in wildlife voices. When the wovles answered the call of the naturalists it was the most awesome sound in the park. If you get a chance to visit the PARK go on one of these howls you won't be disappointed. If anyone has been to Algonquin please tell me about your adventures if you havn't and want to know more just ask. |

I mean the only person that would go out and shoot a wolf are the ones that have no heart when I hear that somebody has done that I just actaully whant to find them and shoot them and lock them up in cages and treat them the way they do wolves see how they like it. The movie White fangs is a horrible movie if you love Wolves as much as I do you would not what to see it. I know that they are really not hurting the wolf but still. I had my hand in a fist the whole time it was makeing me so mad the way they where treating that wolf. I love wolves to death. I think they schould make a law where if you shoot a wolf u shcould go to jail the rest of your life. I dont know if there is a law. The wolf is just such a beutiful aniaml. P.S.
