| Comments: I am an international pilot who has often flown over the Faroe Islands enroute to Europe. However due to cloudy weather conditions, I have never been able to see the islands until September 1, 2009 when we landed 2 aircraft at Vagar for refeuling.
It was a beautiful, sunny day, and although we were unable to stay overnight, I was absolutely amazed by the spectacular scenary of the islands and the frendly nature of its people... I can't wait to return! |

Three years ago I had a Stroke and a heart attack and no more flying. I am now 71 years old and guess that it is now time to let the younger guy's do the jobs. Flying for 42 years was great and it was a good life. Adios Mi Amigo. |
