| Prayer Request: | I need everyone that I know along with everyone on this Dreambook to pray for my husband Rudy. He needs a Liver & Kidney transplant. He was ready to be placed on the transplant list until we received a letter stating from SSI & Medicate that Rudy was not sick enough to receive help. They will not place him on the list until we have sometype of insurance. I am the only one working and am having a very hard time making ends meet and don't like or want anyone telling me that Rudy will loose his life with out financial help. | Prayer Request: | I have a prayer request, My Family Needs Help... I am waiting on God to heal my X husband so we can restore our marriage. We talk everyday and he is still healing. In the midst of it his family is butting in everyway they can. My X nor I know what "Honor your parents" mean when they are not being of help except for giving my X money and trying to involve themselves in every situation of my sons. I don't know how to pray except God's will. But what do you do with parents when they are giving adviced not based on God's word and since I am his X, even though I know God see's our relationship and what it means to both of us, where does God stand on this issue of repairing a family that is already split on paper. I want my family back, What does God say about this stuff. HELP.. He has had to endure a lot. His own faults in the marriage such as porn addiction, acoholism, and now my affair with our Pastor. He is bitter, yet I know he still loves me. He just wants to heal himself. I don't think he can do that with his parents giving him advise, such as "going to church isn't important, it's what's in your heart" and "you're better off without her, she never loved you"... I am lost, he is lost. Please help us pray, so our 7 year old doesn't need to be lost... Please... Since then he met me and things seem to be going well but every once in a while that dark feeling of hate shines it's light.. I pray for him often.. That God gives him angels to give him strength and encouragement.. That he truly understands how deeply I love and need him. To also learn how to pray and understand and he has to give God the power to change his life that he can't do it himself.. I have asked God if this is something I should stay or should I let it be.. and several times he has given me a sign.. one in which came on TV with Joyce Meyers.. she talked about walking away and said she didn't know why she was talking about it, but then said God told her not to give up on her husband to standby him. | Prayer Request: | I need prayer to go to church. It is very difficult for me. I keep the Sabbath, by the Grace of God. I am a 7th day adventist. I haven't been to a church service since Jan. I did go to prayer meetin twice recently. I know that God wants me in church. I have no friends in church. I have tried calling different church members, but I have never received any calls in return. I do talk to them on the phone, but it's like they don't want to be bothered with me. I do have many illnesses and I am many times in pain and I quite often sleep the entire Sabbath. I know that God wants me in church to encourage others and try to bring us together as one. I have only discussed my illnesses with a head deacon and have asked for prayer.I have asked to be annointed over 3 months ago. I was told, wait until our new pastor gets here. I did meet him at a prayer meeting. I don't talk about my illnesses with others, because I am a private person. However, I do discuss ith others, usually non members, how God has blessed me and helped me in my illness. I have no idea what to do now. I do know that God can heal me and He can get me to church each week. So what's wrong with me? |

They make life both sweet and challenging. We come to you with thanksgiving and faith, and we ask you to bless Jacquie with a baby whom she can raise in your nurture and admonition.(Eph. 6:4) We realize that children are an heritage from you, and the fruit of the womb is a reward you give to your people. (Psalms 127:3) You make the barren woman to be a joyful mother as you did in the case of Sara (Psalms 113:9) and Hanna. (1 Samuel 1:20; 2:1-2) It was through faith that Sara received strength to conceive seed, and she was delivered of a child when she was past age because she trusted in your faithfulness, Lord. (Heb. 11:11) Help Jacquie to keep on believing and to trust you totally in this matter of desiring a child. Lord, may your will be done. (Luke 11:2) Impart faith and hope to Jacquie's heart to keep her from all discouragement. Protect her heart and mind so that she will never be confounded or disheartened by the negative words of others. (Psalms 22:4-5) As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man, so are children of the youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them, and they shall not be ashamed for they will speak with the enemies in the gate.(Psalms 127:4-5) We claim this promise for Jacquie from you, Father. Thank you for every prayer promise from your Word. You have assured Jacquie that whatsoever she asks she will receive from you if she keeps your commandments, and does those things that are pleasing in your sight. (1 John 3:22-23) Thank you Father, for hearing our prayer. We know that if we pray in accordance with your will as it is revealed in your Word, we can have confidence that you are hearing us and that you will answer our prayer. (1 John 5:14) We do have confidence in you, Father, and we thank you for your promise that declares you will give Jacquie the desires of her heart. | Prayer Request: | Hello everyone: Those of you who were at church last Sabbath will recall that Pernica phoned me from Jamaica and asked that we pray for her. She wanted to bring her son back to Canada with her. Well, I just got off the telephone. Another call from Jamaica. Pernica got approval from the Embassy. She is bringing him back with her - she says that it is a miracle - it is almost impossible for a single mom from Jamaica to be able to bring their child to Canada with them. I am so happy for her! We had two short visits with Michele and we were able to have good conversations. | Prayer Request: | It is now Sunday evening and every thing seems to be going all right with Michele. God is good. Michele is awake and talking (she’s still resting a lot today which is understandable) with Gerald, Aunty Louise, Michele’s parents and the children. She is quite aware of what is going on around her but she must continue to get a lot of bed rest for the next week or two. Her eyes seem to be better but one eye is still a little lazy. With our prayers this week she will recover. Thanks once again for all your prayers and support. Jeff and I are planning a day trip up to Toronto to visit Michele and Gerald on Wednesday this week. If all goes well Michele will be heading home to Sudbury in a week to a week and a half but she must not go back to work for at least 6 months. Michele’s parents are going to take care of her when she gets back home. Thank you all so much once again. I will give you an update if anything changes. |

I am not being treated right at all and he is not kind to me and manipulates situations always making me the bad guy, my sister thinks it's a power trip thing. He makes mountain out of molehill's. We have been together off and on for about 8 years. I always seem to think "this time things will be different" but they never really are. | Prayer Request: | Papa is a lot better now. His condition has improved considerably since the surgery last Saturday. He’s allowed to sit up by himself and eat solid foods now. God willing, we could bring him home on Sunday! It’s his birthday on Monday. J We’re glad that we decided for the craniotomy. God didn’t grant our exact request that the blood clot just re-absorb by itself; He gave us a different miracle instead. The morning after the operation, Papa woke up (from the anesthesia) and started talking. He asked where he was, what happened etc. He even had a conversation with my mom for a while! Before, he would fall asleep right after being asked a question. Thank you so much for your prayers. It’s really amazing how many people prayed for my dad’s recovery; people from all over Palawan, friends from around the Philippines, and folks from other countries around the globe! Please continue praying that the Lord will be with us as the guy’s family is filing a complaint against us. They say that Papa intentionally hit the guy. The guy was huge, was drunk and in the middle of the road! What would my dad’s motive be for hitting him when all he wanted was to go home to his family? People would really do anything for money; even when it’s clear that they’re the ones who are wrong. I’ll send you a more detailed account of the events when the time permits. It’s our final examination week at school and we have been very busy. God bless! |

His doctor has advised that he needs all four extremities amputated due to an infection that almost took his life. Pastor Alfred has the additional burden of his elderly mother in serious condition in a Montreal hospital presently and his wife, Ritha, not very well either Thank you for holding up Jean and his family in prayer at this time of crisis for them. |

| Prayer Request: | Last Wednesday my dad, Dan, had a motorcycle accident on his way home from the north with a friend. He was the one driving. They saw that there was a drunk on the road in front of them. He went to the side to pass by the guy. As they were driving past, the drunk dived in front of the motorcycle. Papa was thrown face forward and downward on the pavement. He got several superficial abrasions and cuts on the face (forehead). The friend got some burns on his legs from the motorcycle’s exhaust pipe. Thankfully there was a truck that passed by the area and my dad was put on it. He was unconscious. They brought him to Salvacion, about 40 minutes away from Puerto. There was a mobile clinic there and they transferred him on an ambulance. They were able to inform us of the accident through the Puerto Radio Center who called us at home. The accident happened at around 7:00 PM. He arrived at the Palawan Adventist Hospital at around 8:10 PM. When Papa arrived at the emergency room, he was vomiting blood but he was already conscious. He is now admitted in the Palawan Adventist Hospital. The X-rays showed that he has a small fracture on the temporal side of the skull. We had him CT Scanned this morning; the results show that there is a 1.5cm blood clot under his skull because of the fracture. The neurosurgeon is advising surgery because the blood clot is putting pressure on the brain stem. If the clot were only 1cm in size or located a little higher on the brain, it would be different. He say’s that there is a 95% chance of success. The surgery is schedule tomorrow at 1:00 PM. But we are asking God for a miracle to happen, that the blood clot will diminish to 1cm so that surgery will not be needed. So tomorrow morning, we will have him CT Scanned one more time. My dad sleeps constantly. He hears and recognizes us. We thank the Lord it wasn’t much worse. Please pray for him and for our family. Please pray that justice may be done on that drunk. Please continue praying for us in this time of crisis. Thank you. |

Just when I think I can barely handle what is going on in my life and overwhelmed with school, I came to campus this am to find that everything,except my crusty runners and gym clothes, were stolen from my locker. I have lost ALL of my native studies, psychology(notes and texts-and have a test next Thursday) and probably at least half a dozen books I have borrowed from the library and Women's Centre. My request in the form that you believe is that they should somehow miraculously be found and returned to me. I went immediately to security, library and the place where I rented my locker from and lost and found. I have a list of my library books and need to check off what I have and meet with the supervisor tomorrow(possibility here is that I am charged with these and not be able to receive my transcripts--best case scenario, the library will take them as a 'loss' and I won't be penalized). Going to try and find my psych prof now and talk to my native studies prof this aft(paper due Monday with him and all my research was in my locker for that too. The neighbors Pitbull and 2 Sharpei X got loose today and ganged up on old Jessie (my dog). I was outside at the time…H. was in the house going to the bathroom and J. was with me shoveling some snow off the drive way. Jessie started yelping and when I yelled out at them Jessie came over to me yelping and the other dogs took off into the woods. I think Jessie is going to be all right…some bruising on his right hip…but I am just glad that it wasn’t any more serious. I am also glad that it wasn’t one of my children. I’m not sure what else we can do about the animals next door…Animal Control knows about them and the town knows about our situation. | Prayer Request: | Dear Friends, Please pray for Nicolle Brise, as she enters her second wk of an evangelistic series in Hope Church that has seen low attendance but mighty preaching and at least six people to date who have said that they accepted Christ for the first time. Nicolle has been under attack from Satan since the first day but has been preaching powerful messages every night. But last night she was not able to complete her sermon on baptism because of extreme weakness, lack of vision and ability to talk and even stand. She was able to signal to the pastor to take over and walked off the platform but was overcome with weakness and felt her life ebbing out. Many prayers went up as nurses flocked around her, took her blood pressure and pulse. God restored her to eventually take her place at the pulpit (maybe 20-25 minutes later) to complete the alter call. Nicolle has never experienced this in the past, has no illness that she is aware of but has had communication from God that this series would be difficult. Nicolle’s dynamic messages have been respected & appreciated by all that hear (as far as I know) and yesterday morning she preached the most powerful sermon I’ve ever heard on the second coming of Jesus. She had us all marching into heaven! The devil’s attacks have not been restricted to Nicolle either. I could relate one after the next story to you of how he has been tampering in this series. As most of you know, Nicolle’s series here (April 16-May 8) is (to my knowledge) the first evangelistic series in Ontario (and I believe Canada) preached by a female and co-sponsored by the WM Dept of a conference (or any other dept for that matter) and is planned to be just the beginning for we are forming a Women of Mission Advisory Committee to continue the work of women’s evangelism that I believe will carry on until Jesus comes. We believe that every woman who has the desire to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ should be empowered to do so. And it is not a woman’s issue. It is a, Holy Spirit, end time, prophetic fulfillment (Joel 2:28,29) matter. It is my hope and belief that seeing women preach will inspire young people and even children to find their voice and mission. I am continuing to learn that I have a lot to learn and re-learn! | Prayer Request: | I would like a prayer for my two sisters marriages. Help them to know their value. Help my son to realize he is worthy of love and just simply worthy of life. Help him to see he only has to prove himself to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and no one else. Help him to have enough belief and strength in himself to stand on his own two feet and not feel fear of failure, and to realize that failure does not mean "HE" is a failure. I pray he gains strength in himself from our Father. I pray for my husband to receive truth and t0 stand on it. Pray for me to grow stronger and that the Lord uses me and allows the Holy Spirit to speak through so that I can bring others to Christ. |

| Prayer Request: | God is helping with the girls we are going to homeschool them to improve their grades. We are also hoping to get some tutor help. Pray that we will be able to afford it. The landlord decided to sell our duplex. We need prayers as our work is delivering newspapers from our home. We don't have a car so we can't do this work from another house. | Prayer Request: | On Friday afternoon Ken and I left for Camp Whitesand, and plan to be there until after campmeeting. That would make it two weeks. Ken was scheduled to preach at the Yorkton church yesterday, the church closest to the camp. We had completed breakfast when the phone rang in the camp kitchen. Ellen, the cook, and also my cousin, was called to the phone and was this message: Tamara Borcawicz, about 22,a young lady from the Yorkton, was travelling to Alberta to spend the weekend with her twin sister. They were about 30 minutes out of Kindersley and it was about 9:35 when they saw a Dodge truck coming toward them in their lane. Tamara did the most natural thing and took the ditch. Well, the driver of the truck decided to do the same and that's where he hit Tamara's car right at the driver's door. Shawna, a friend of Tamara's was unharmed but the jaws of life had to be used to free Tamara. After being stabilized in the Kindersley hospital, she was taken to Saskatoon where she underwent surgery for 8 hours yesterday. Ken and I saw her about an hour after surgery. Her mother told us that Tamara's spleen had to be removed. Both arms are broken and numerous injuries, too numerous to mention. I am requesting that Tamara be held up in prayer and that she will recover from this ordeal. Her parents are of good courage but the realty is there. Ken and I remember another young man having a terrible accident when he was about the same age and he recovered. We will go to the hospital and visit the family for a short while. | Prayer Request: | Things have been pretty hectic around here. School is finishing and my husband has been working night shift. He's 'sound' asleep on the couch right now. This has been hard on him. He's been doing this since Thursday. If that wasn't bad enough this heat has been hard on him. It's only the air conditioning that has kept him comfortable. Just letting you know that I'm starting a new venture. I'm knocking on doors and trying to see where God will lead. At the beginning of June I talked with a lady, Joanne, who 5 years ago started a program for youth that involves using music and everything associated with music to teach children self-confidence and self-esteem. It is called "Harmony & Music Education for Youth in Sarnia Lambton Inc." Harmony offers a safe place for youth to interact with each other and with caring adults. Harmony insists on "no negative talk" while youth are at the Centre and to always uplift and support fellow members. It is free with the condition that the students "Pay-it-forward". In other words the children are expected to pay for their lessons by performing free when doing concerts or other things within their community. During my talk with Joanne, I was deeply impressed by the way God provided everything they have, all the way from chairs, to music, to instruments, to teachers. I would like to start a Harmony Centre where I live. I feel like God can use me and others to reach into an area where sports is the only thing for children to do. They're looking at hiring someone to run the program here. I really like the idea. So I'm going to start one. I'm not sure where to start or where to go with this...We have absolutely no money right now. The only thing I have that is actually in my hands is keys to a mailbox. What I'd like to ask for is your help....Please pray for this. I've prayed and asked God that if this is something that He wants to go forward then He'll have to open His storehouses and dump them on this program. I don't want to go against what He wants. I've tried that and it doesn't work. Telling youth about a loving, caring God is something that has to happen. They are our future. (A little child shall lead them) Do you have musical instruments you are no longer using? Could we have them? If you want them back, then could they be loaned? Do you know of anyone who has instruments that they aren't using? We have no chairs, furniture, office equipment, sewing machines (to make costumes & uniforms, etc.) and curtains for the stage area, shelving, music fabric or money to do anything with. We also have no building. But God will provide. I’ve been in touch with the local Credit Union asking if they would help me organize as well as be a major sponsor. It looks promising. Local businesses will also be receiving a letter requesting help. So will the Mayor. Involving the entire community and churches will make this a success. One of two vacant buildings could house us (former schools)….I’m thinking BIG!! My plan is basically the same as Harmony’s. Vocal lessons for junior, intermediate, senior and adult choirs; Band lessons for junior, intermediate, senior bands; String lessons - violin, cello, guitar; musical productions from inception to completed performance including recording; costume and set design; sound and recording engineering; art lessons; after school study sessions, computer access and board games. Also, read an article of children producing their own children's television or radio programs. Sounds like something that they could do....we'll need equipment for that.... I also want to have the freedom to be able to share God (not doctrine) with many of the hurting families in this area. Having programs for the older youth on Friday evenings and Sabbath afternoons would be a great way of introducing them to God. Programs might include café’s, or talent shows, or street theatre…anything that might entice the youth to learn about God. Help is what is being asked for. Help in any way. | Prayer Request: | I need Prayer for our family. Our girls are teens 13 going on 14 and 15 going on 16. They don't want to include dad in their birthday parties with their friends. He is sorry that he hasn't spent time with them when they wer younger. The girls are rebelling in many ways. My husband spends much time with the tv and tennis. We need to spend more time as a family and in family worship. I pray for a closer family and a closer walk with the Lord for all of us. Need also more stability in our finances as we don't have enough to hardly cover our bills and needs. My girls are failing their grades at school. Dr. thinks that he might survived a year. But I know that only God knows when that time will come. My brother inlaw hasn't accept Jesus as his savior yet, but his willing to study the bible. I now have a full time job doing administrative work with the people who put together the entertainment books (the ones with the great coupons and they usually get kids to sell them though schools for fundraisers). I will be starting very soon and making more money than I was making at my old job. God is good. Also, thanks for the prayers for my dad. He will be coming home tomorrow morning and he is looking much better. He will still need a liver transplant at some point, but at least we know what is wrong and how to fix it. We are all optimistic and thankful for your thoughts and prayers. |

| Prayer Request: | E. is in Alberta right now. She went out to visit with her mom, take her out and get her set up for a housekeeper to come around the house and do some cleaning. Dad has always been against this idea and feels it is not necessary. Mom's memory has been getting worse and worse and she is becoming so forgetful, not eating right, forgetting anything that is recent. She is living in the far past, and now feels no need for a housekeeper to come in and help out. Mom can't find her things because nothing is in the right spot, lots had to be thrown out because of a mice infestation. She is lost when away from home and will answer if asked a direct question, but doesn't have a spontaneous conversation. E. so much wants to get some assistance for them, but feels so helpless with mom changing her mind and now not wanting any help. From the research that E. has done for mom it is best if she can stay home as long as possible because she at least knows where she is, even if she can't find anything, she knows her way around the house. Please pray for our aging parents, for wisdom so E. can know the right things to do. One therapist they went to today thinks that mom has a vitamin B12 deficiency which is leading to the memory loss. They have started vitamins to see if that makes any difference. Thank you for your love and concern and remembering E. in you prayers. (from her husband) |
