Fr. Christopher Allen Tuesday, December 26th 2006 - 11:56:27 AM frchristopher37@hotmail.com Grayslake, IL I linked to Eliot Grasso's CD from your website and was amazed both by his playing and your pipes! Perfect pitches, crystal clarity and a tone like silk. Hope to contact you in the future about a half set w/fully keyed chanter. Used to play on a Lamb half set nearly 20 years ago but had to sell for various reasons. All the best.

Gary Lane Sunday, February 26th 2006 - 01:24:44 AM scudding@comcast.net Eugene, Oregon Eliot Grasso recommendation during a lesson has moved your pipes from "Bookmarked in Favorites" to top contender. Now to save and continue practice on a Penny Chanter from David Daye. While the engraving isn't offered, your photos sure have elicited lots of admiration. Of course the real concern is sound. Having heard Eliot Grasso play one of your Uilleann Pipe sets, I am impressed with the tone that is not harsh or raucous, but sweet emotive.

Glenn Nead Wednesday, January 4th 2006 - 10:31:40 PM mapmgr@yahoo.com Oklahoma City/Spencer, OK I'm the dude from OKC that Stephen is referring to. Sorry Stephen-- didn't mean to cause distress. As Stephen mentioned, I have been given a pakistani starter set. It is a combined Christmas/birthday/wedding gift from my fiancee. I'm hoping that it will work reasonably enough to learn the basics on until I can afford to upgrade to either your work or C J Dixon's. Stephen mentions that reeds make a large difference and suggested that I might be able to get a "real one" from you or that you could point me in the right direction. I'd appreciate any other suggestions that you might have. Oh, and Stephen is right. You have beautiful chanters/sets. Thank you.

Stephen Gilpin Wednesday, January 4th 2006 - 09:46:50 PM sparkgilpin@cox.net Tulsa I was contacted by a dude down here in Oklahoma who was given a paki set. I don't know what to tell the guy to do. I needed inspiration, so I checked out your site again. That stuff is so beautiful it almost hurts. One of these days I'll have to find some way to rationalize ordering a C chanter. Ebony with rosewood mounts -- just so I could look at it and hold it whenever I wanted to. I still don't know what to tell the guy, but all my troubles seemed to have faded away for a while. Thanks.

Jason Bond Monday, December 12th 2005 - 02:48:09 PM jasonbond58@hotmail.com California Dear Kirk, I purchased a set of pipes (Eugene Lamb) from my friend and fellow musician Richard Cook and it came with your chanter. It's been pretty good up tll now. The reed appears to be weak and low D is Burbly. The members of the piper's club suggested I shave an ever so minute portion above the staple, but added buy another reed from Kirk before you do this!! So I need to order another reed! So please send me payment details and I'll send my address viaa email. Thanks Kirk..... love the chanter jason B.

Joseph Smith Saturday, November 22nd 2003 - 05:36:04 AM mrgurglesnort@aol.com Davenport, Florida Beautiful pipes Kirk, although it is a little sad that the engraving is not an option for your pipes, but I suppose it can tend to be a little "labor intensive." Keep up the brilliant work!
