I dont get it, how did kotomi get over her figght with tezuya so easily? I like how you got to the point quickly though, i started to right a couple of manga and animea comics before i read your comic too, but they all seem to turn out, as the same tippicle story line,: "Girl: I love you!" "Guy:I like some one else.." I just cant think of an origenal story line...... oh well, i guess people who arent from Japan, cant do as well as natives...... | Comments: | hey, ur comic is great and all, but it needs a few touch up! (i only looked through the first ch.) i found little japanese characters on the back, so i assume you can read japanese, huh?! well i thought the comic was cute and everything but your story does not have an ultimate punch that attracts readers. you can settle with the feed back that you get from your friends or take some of my advise and improve to become a better "manga-ka".
the characters are well developed for an amature. you tend to focus- too much on upper body, you should try to vary your pictures by doing more dramatic close ups or wide shots of scene.(for example of the eye in that one page, etc.) i think you displayed the first page very well, you added backgrounds to your characters and i wish you would do that to more of your pages so you don't have to explain in side texts that "she's at school, that't the gate, etc." drawing backgrounds are an important skill needed to be a comic artist. as an artis myself i use to recieve this kind of criticism myself.
o btw, this is all constructive criticism, so plz if i offended you in any way i apologize. although i don't post my work online i send them to competitions in japan. i really respect your positive attitude and posting your work online, i wish i could be as brave as you! keep up the good work and i hope to read your comics in the future, in the form of a professional publication product. |
