My Father served in Aramcos Auditing Department as an internal Auditor. His employment begain in 1950 and ende in 1983 i.e. a 33 years service.In 1986 he became a diabetic. He was put on Dialysis for one yera and a few months before he became extremly ill. My sister Sabah and youngest brother Jamal were by his side at the time he was called by God our merciful creator. My mother passed away 7 years earlier i.e. January 10, 2003. May they be joined in heaven and live in eternal peace. Please if you read this to kindly pass on the word. |

| Comments: | I just returned from the 2009 National Senior Games at Stanford University in Calif. where 10,000 athletes ages 50 and above competed in 25 different sports from Aug. 1st - 9th. I took a 4th place in the 50 yd. breastroke and a 6th place in the 100 yd. breastroke for the 50-54 age group. There were 142 entries and 19 heats in the 50 yd. br. and 17 heats for the 100 yd. br. The swim team, the Hobby Farm, so many things that kept us busy and out of trouble. If you remember your parents saying 3 black marks and I lose my job with Aramco! | Comments: | My mother and I arrived in Al Kobar in 1952 or 53. We waited for housing in DH. My father would drop me off (7 a.m.) at the recreation area and I'd play until school started. Within a short time we moved into company housing. My first girl friend in DH was Diane Armstrong and last was Camille McCann. My father (Andy) happened to have BADGE #1, that's my claim to fame. I attended 7 high schools (Dad had many jobs) and joined the Army in 1963. In 1979 I returned to Saudi with my wife and 2 children. I worked at King Faisal Hospital In Riyadh and returned to San Diego 4 years later. I have been happily married for 43 years (same woman) and recently sold my business in San Diego. We retired in November of 08. |

We had a mini Aramco reunion last month over the holidays on board the RCCL Navigator of the Seas cruise ship out of Fort Lauderdale. 10 were with us including Aramco Brats Tom Nine (Dh.72),Fred Bobb (Dh.72), Marc Dorsch (Dh.76), Debbie Dorsch (Dh.73)and Aramco retirees Pat Dorsch (Aramco Schools),Arthur Bobb (Aramco Medical Services),and Dottie Srembo (Aramco Medical Services). A fun time was had by all on the 6 day cruise to Belize and Cozumel. There is a group photo posted on the Aramcoexpats.com web site under "Photo Of The Week". Happy New Year! 'Id Mubarak!
