I've been following this page for a while now, and I look forward to every update! The artwork is superb, the character designs are inspired, and the technical art (ships, mechanics, etc) are wonderful! Keep up the excellent work, I'm looking forward to seeing more!

I Just discovered this, and the art is quite lovely. I am very taken by the plot line and anxiously await the opportunity to read more. Keep up the good work.

I hope you get your art tablet fixed soon. I really miss the comic since you have stopped updating.

Oh God, I rediscovered this comic from someone's mention and...it's so well written and well drawn. Things come together; there's no huge plot holes, and the aliens you portray feel like more than humans with weird rubber foreheads. They're familiar, but at the same time, distant, hard to grasp.

It leaves me wanting more, so much more.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm not even gay and I think I love you.

High five for blue-grey skinned, pointy eared, psychic authoritarians. Nice to see someone making elves less about woodlands and more about imperialism and war.

I'm glad to see this excellent comic starting to go on a more regular update status. I used to read it sporadically when it was months between pages.

Keep up the great work, this is one of my favorites!

I've recently been told that one obstacle standing in the way of several burgeoning webcomics is a lack of display of appreciation. Sure, their website may get hundreds of hits each day, but there may be few who would bother to comment or email the author to let them know what they think about the comic.

Having been one of these people, who witnesses but declines to comment or share whatever thoughts one has, and now understanding that it is my responsibility to support that which I appreciate, I intend to correct this flaw.

Chapter 1, Page 56, top frame. That is the moment that I fell head over heels in love with Outsider. Until then I had found the comic to be increasingly engaging and interesting. The art felt smooth and easy, and yet was loaded with small details that could be picked out and analyzed (in particular, I enjoyed the depictions of the Bellarmine and the Tempest). The plot seemed to be well written, the characters felt real, the technology was believable. I felt a smile of enjoyment, amusement and entertainment form on my face as I reached the beginning of chapter one, and it only continued to grow.

But as Alex stepped onto the Command Deck and Mizol Parat Sedel introduced herself, I saw how everything came together. I nearly shot out of my seat and thrust my fists into the air. After reading to the end of the archives (currently page 64) I knew I had to learn more, and checked out Insider for more information. I loved the explanations of FTL travel, weapon systems, Loroi society.

Certain books, movies and television shows can push every button, ignite our imagination, engage our attention, so thoroughly that they leave us begging for more. The original Star Wars, The West Wing, re-imagined Battlestar Galactica (forgive me if I use examples that I find fit the profile, you may have a differing opinion). These entertainment phenomenons are often termed "blockbusters."

Outsider is a blockbuster. And I've reread the whole story (as it is so far) three times just to make sure. I applaud the authors and artists, and I hope they know that I am awaiting further updates with baited breath.

Thanks for the great comic! I've been reading it for a few years now and was sad to see you haven't updated in a while (a few months back). I'm glad to see you've been adding some pages!

Thanks again!

Erm, Where are the "vote" buttons ?

As long as you put up atleast one page each month I'll happily vote you into twc or any other list every time I come by the page to check for a new page (about twice a week now that you are updating again) [Blatant blackmail]

Keep up the good work and know that we appreciate the work you do.

Hey! I've been reading this for YEARS now. I love this so much. No matter how slow you have to update it I will be around reading it! Your artwork is so gorgeous and the story is such a classic sci-fi stranger in a strange land epic. I have been really enjoying these quick updates, though! Thank you!

Takes so long... The quality is great and all but I rather have an intruiging plot with normal drawings any day. What you're doing is fine though... Except the fact that it took a month for one page xD

WOW. WOW. WOW.
easily the best web comic i have ever read. well thought out, gripping story and well explored characters. was very impressed. however when i went onto the gallery it said the last update was 2007. what the hell, do not allow this concept and story to go to waste. you are obviously a very talented writer and artist. please, please, please get it up and moving soon because as from today i am hooked. i would be very sad if this comic went no further. your newest fan, nick x x x

p.s. if your not planning on writing anymore can you email me so i know and dont spend my time constantly checking your web-page for updates thanx x x x

Its a really awesome webcomic, actually is feels more than a illustrated book, mostly because it grows soooo slowly. :-( It is really well made, it would be a shame if you'd let it fall asleep. I am sure that if you release it more frequently, this could bring in some money for you, for sure.

Best of Luck, looking forward for more,

Adrian

Wow, just wow. This is easily the best sci-fi comic I have ever seen and I practically spend my LIFE cruising from one webcomic to another! Everything's so well thought out it all seems feasable and the story and artwork are something else! This is on a whole other level to half of the rest of the web. Keep up the good work my man, outstanding!

A new page! Soooo cool.
Your work is incredibly beautiful, the characters and environments are so well rendered and your use of color is just eye-popping. I realize that the creation of the 3d sets is an insanely big task (the bridge looks great, BTW) which must slow down your page progress. I guess the pay off is you don't have to redraw the backgrounds for every scene so you'll save time later on down the road. Since I do everything on paper until the coloring stage I'm impressed by the way you blend all the different elements together.

Hey, if you're really gonna be able to update more often gimme a heads up and I'll add you to my recommended comics link page.
