I *really* enjoy your work and this story - even though, or maybe because, your attention to detail borders on some clinical term.
I look ever forward to reading more of the Outsider!

A new page! Soooo cool.
Your work is incredibly beautiful, the characters and environments are so well rendered and your use of color is just eye-popping. I realize that the creation of the 3d sets is an insanely big task (the bridge looks great, BTW) which must slow down your page progress. I guess the pay off is you don't have to redraw the backgrounds for every scene so you'll save time later on down the road. Since I do everything on paper until the coloring stage I'm impressed by the way you blend all the different elements together.

Hey, if you're really gonna be able to update more often gimme a heads up and I'll add you to my recommended comics link page.

Is it possible to get some information on when the next update might happen? Every time I check, I become more concerned that there never will be any more to the story. PLEASE continue! And thank you!

Stumbled across this yesterday from the Alterverse war crossover (hey, that ship looked cool), and I've got to say I'm impressed. The low number of pages over the 5 years the comic has been going is frustrating since what you have has already gotten my attention. The art is fantastic, the writing is great, and it's blatantly obvious that this is one of the better examples of sci-fi worldbuilding in the online comics community.

Looking forward to whenever weekly updates can resume, you've got me hooked.

Just checking in, Arioch. Been drifting around now and then, just hoping you're still alive and all.

You're doing an awesome job on the comic - the pages are excellent - and although I prefer quality over quantity, it wouldn't hurt to throw us all a bone or two now and then - just a quick sketch uploaded to the site. I know on your forums you've done some sketchwork, and I have to say, I'm quite impressed. The Barsam look particularly fearsome. Keep it up!

Wow! What a great comic you've got going! The art is fabulous, with great little details. I know it's good when the art work on the panels impresses me! That detail finds it's way into the story too. It's clear the comic takes place in a rich, and full world. I feel like you've got a much larger world then we'll ever see in the comic. Which ends up making the best kind of fantasy, and sci-fi.

All in all I'm quite impressed! I hope you can keep up your motivation, I would really love to see some more comics. I know how hard it is to keep you focus in a project like this. So here's some encouragement, Stick with it kid!

Wow, what a great comic. You've got great art going, with great attention for detail. All these plans, knowing what stations do what, it's really quite impressive. You've really got a well fleshed out world here, and we've only caught the smallest glimpse so far.

I just hope that you don't let this project fall to the way side. I know how hard it can be to stay focused one something like this. Keep it up though, I'm sure it will pay off! Looking forward to a return from your hiatus!

I've been a dedicated reader of your comic. I visit all the time to see if you updated. If not I use your links. To have a dream is sometimes said. I look at my life and I wonder if my ideas will every fully hit paper. I guess I'm not mature or dedicated enough to make myself do it. So I end up seeking people who are pursuing their dreams. Your story is solid and your ideas and philosophies run deep. I hope to see more soon. Goodluck.

I enjoyed this. When I started reading I'm thinking ok how solid could all this be? I think I was hooked when you had Alexander swearing vengeance against whomever had destroyed his ship. The sheer simplicity of that helps me relate to the character better. I could understand being in his shoes and dealing with what happened to his ship mates. Reading his thoughts about his saviors/captors is quite funny also. Makes me want to create my own science fiction space comic.

I do hope that you update soon.

I enjoyed the new Loroi character sketches. The immersive detail presented outside of the webcomic is, in my humble opinion, what makes Outsider so great. Once I finish with the comic pages, I always can go to the Insider section to peruse the seemingly innumerable pages of information about the comic itself.

Keep up the great work! I'll be waiting patiently for the next pages/updates.

Stumbled upon this comic through interesting looking banner ads from another fantasy based webcomic (probably <.<^ ), Even from the first few pages, i could see this comic had potential. I really love fantasy webcomics and literature, and so I really enjoyed reading this great comic; your art is awesome and the story's interesting and (for me at least) something new and fresh. I would really love to see you continue the webcomic (plz don't be considering killing your webcomic!; ohnoes!)
...

Thanks again! kthxbai!

I've been to Outsider before, but it was only recently (after re-reading the 50 current pages for the fifth or sixth time through) that I realized ho incredible this comic is. I am truly impressed with your artwork, and found your tutorial to be immensely helpful, seeing as how I am in the developmental stages of my own webcomic.

Please continue what you have started here - this is an amazing story that has been backed up with a wealth of research, knowledge, and talent. I would hate to see it go under. That said, I'll be around waiting patiently for the next page.

Hi there! I just stumbled on your site while googling J. Aaron Kambeitz (I was trying to explain his '15' motif to someone, you see) and I'm rather impressed. You've got a solid comic with a great art style. I very much like your concept art galleries, and I'm struck by the amount of thought you've put into the art and story. It looks like you haven't updated in a while, but I'll certainly be checking back!

PLEEEAAASSEEE don't let this comic die. I've seen far too many webcomics die out because the artist went on indefinite hiatus and kept postponing the return until they lost all motivation. Don't let this happen with this one too!
