The big guy from the quips #64 was the best D-tackle I have ever tried to block, hes a monster. I hope next we meet again but maybe at heniz instead. |

| Comments: | Nice try last night, but there were too many drive killing penalities; for most of the game you guys didn't have great field position either.
At least it wasn't a humiliation like the Beaver game. And it could have -- should have -- been won it that last minute. I thought shorter first down passes (with about a minute to go on their own 20 yard line) rather than those end zone passes would have been better plays. WASH had too many muffs and turnovers not to take advantage of, but usually those things only left the Quips in lousy field position. And to actually lose it on a special team play. It was nice to hear about that last drive on my pc, dang you guys almost pulled it off; but almost doesn't count as all Atlanta Brave fans know. Agh! D@mn! The coaches ought to get your butts running up and down the stadium steps. |

It is usually great to listen to the homies via a pc and NSN sports from my spot in Florida, but one needs to be objective about the team's performance. No much good was discovered during the Beaver game except what doesn't work; to see the game turn on so many key turnovers with less than two minutes remaining in the half was not only ugly, but brutal. And it was NAZZZZZTY, NAZZZZZTY, NAZZZZZTY embarrasing to get such a spanking from dem Beavers. The homies lost their pants in that contest. It was wonderful to see the Quips bounce Beaver Falls yesterday. I would hope from here forward that the team takes no opponent for granted and, on the other hand gives none of their future opponents undue respect. I would hope the Quips will work together to take the measure of each opponent during each play -- holding one another accountable for the execution of his assignment -- and let the chips fall to either the slaughter of their opponents or to giving more playing time to those who are not starters, or to practicing those things that certainly need to be practiced... like the passing game maybe? Come to mention it, not one pass was attempted during the Beaver Falls game, yet one would figure with a 31 point cushion a few conservative passing plays could have been tried without much risk. |
