It must have been a strange venue to play, I think I was the only other American in the hall (expatriate, living in Netherlands 12 years, on the other side of the country from Niewkoop). It was a real treat to hear a hot, hot band. I had already bought and enjoyed the Redline CD, in person you did not disappoint!! I especially was impressed by your vocal dynamics around the single mike, also the bobbing and weaving Flatt & Scruggs style. Fantastic harmonies!! and powerful singing all around. I was also impressed with the electric bass, it sounded completely acoustic (like an acoustic bass mike'd up) and fit well in the balance. I'll definitely go see you whenever you're in striking distance. |
