*ahem* Dreigiau is a wonderful work of fiction that is pretty darn original. The characters are three dimensional and realistic, and the storyline is well thought out. Keep up the good work!!! |

| Entry: | *after reading 'Banished One'*My Lady...you've done it again. Mind mage! Gods, it's so...well, gods, that is the problem, really. 'Not a tame Dragon', eh? They're just so far beyond us, it's like we're ants to them or something-Zemi pretty much leaves that at home when he goes visiting the pretty little bluegreen planets, but *fwau*...what a reminder...
Not tame, that reminds me. Ohyes, another quote from there. 'If it's going to be human someday and isn't yet, or used to be human once and isn't now or *ought* to be human and isn't, you keep your eyes on it, and you feel for your hatchet.' Not that a hatchet would do any good against Them. But the worst thing-the really worst thing-is they're just enough like people to have some people-flaws and make people-mistakes. Even the ones who're a-chasing sir Zemi...ohyes, they're just close enough to have the negative without having the positive. Because you gain the hidden virtues by going through darkness and out the other side; and Empty Mind came back with the pearl... *sighs*Why shouldn't Zemi Make himself, though? Who else is gonna Make him? Who's got authority to, save him? It makes me glad that I'm a Milesian, and relatively safe from that kinda stuff... ...only I'm not, am I? Milesians who've got no right to have been trying to make me into something I've no wish to be all my life. Just cause I'm Milesian doesn't mean I'm safe. Heh, it's true. Microcosm; macrocosm. Big fleas have little fleas Upon their backs to bite 'em And little fleas have smaller fleas And so ad infinitum... |

| Entry: | There is an old saw about a child that sees a man chipping away at a block of marble. 'What are you doing?' asks the child.
'Making a sculpture,' says the man. The child does not really understand, and leaves. A couple of months later it happens to return to where the man is working. However, the block of marble is now a beautiful statue of a horse. The child turns to the man in amazement, and asks, 'How did you know that was in there?' Not much is said about the Lunarians in the story of the world marked Dragoon; Darkstar, to you. It is known that they have white hair, that they came from a planet between Mars and Jupiter, that they left this planet when it was doomed for one of the two moons of the Blue Planet, that they sleep upon this moon in a tower of crystal, waiting for a time when they may go down to the planet and live there. But that is nothing. It is known that a Lunar man called KluYa crafted the ship known as the Big(or Lunar)Whale, and rode it down to the still lands. That he married an Earth woman who had two children by him, that these children were the key players in the Story. But that is only the barest shred, of one man's life; two or three threads plucked from a shining tapestry. There is so much that was never told. So many questions never answered because they were never asked. I am the child, looking at *Dreigiau*. I look upon the tatters left on the Moon and wound up in the hearts and minds and bodies of Cecil Harvey and Golbez Benjamin Ya, and then I look upon *Dreigiau*, upon the names and faces and magics and histories all woven so seamlessly together, and I exclaim 'Aywren! How did you know that was in there?' |

| Entry: | Eeeee, more Dreigiau! I really love this story and the characters here. Your art and chapter sketches thrown in brings even more life to the story. The phrasing you use in your writing, too, such as SoYa's mind "jumping ship on him". It must take a very, very powerful imagination to create something like this. Great job. I'm looking forward to more! |

| Entry: | Very nice Wren! Love the layout and colors you chose—It's incredible how detailed you've thought out all these concepts, extremely impressive! ^^ I think that it'll give everyone who reads "DS" and "Dreigiau" for the first time a new perspective of FFIV! In fact I was just watching my brother try to beat FFIV using *my*(=D) save and saw the last scene when Golbez, Fu and crew met up with Zemus. Seeing Golbez pixilated, I couldn't help but think of your renderation of him and give me a feeling of understanding for the character. For me, this simple transition of ideas from your writing to the actual game makes me think--you've truly exceeded in your efforts to explore the characters beyond the depth of simple game characters created years passed. Any expectations that anyone originally had when you first started Dark Star so many years ago, have undoubtedly been shattered with this everlasting colorful account of a story untold. Always take pride in your work, it has been a pleasure to watch your work progress and improve over the many years. So... to that effect—Keep it up! ^_^ *hugs* |
