Odd, cause it's a Christian hymn, and I've never been Christian by any leap of the imagination, but I always liked that song. Maybe it's just the metaphor-the idea of life as a dance...I dunno. Don't have any logical reason why it should remind me of this story.

| Comments: I've heard the phrase 'a labour of love', and I'd apply it to this little marvel. But 'labour' seems too harsh and ugly a word...this place is more like, well...in my old Pack was a girl who played the flute. Mostly she played carefully, pristine-perfect tunes from sheet music. But sometimes she'd ad-lib like there was no tomorrow, wild soaring notes, making it up as she went, playing for the joy of it, beautiful strange music.
This story is like that. Joie de vivre, eh? 'Let's go play on the big Blue Planet! Let's play that there's a most great and terrible thing happening, and then let's play saving the world! C'monc'monc'mon! I'll race you-race you! Race you to the Crystal World, and let's play in the holy shining, and then let's race home in time for dinner!' The last time I saw something like this was with the Final Fantasies theirselves. This is the joy and talent that attracted Living Ones to you. |

I had never seen an RPG before, and my friend rented the game and brought it over, and just like you said, something connected between me and it. It also took me months to save up for the game-I can't remember how many, but I finally got it when we went on vacation to see my grandparents and they gave me some money. I've played gobs of other RPGs, but I probably have played FF2 once for every time I've played another game! You should get in touch with the folks at squaresoft about getting the rights to publish your story, and as an avid book reader I must say that the story is truly captivating and I would buy the book if ever it was made. |
