Thanks for your message re: bikes. Our club kids are very upset that they are noty allowed to ride their bikes, most of these are pre junior age so it gave them a chance to get on the track!! It is now down to one person not all of the village. So all we can do is stick by the guide lines set by the council. regards Debbie |

It’s a shame the council has prevented the kids from using quads, mine were well disappointed at the weekend. I guess this is just another nail in the coffin of motor sport initiated by the petty minded campaigners in Corse and Eldersfield. Hopefully they will be preoccupied with the new gas terminal in the coming months to bother us much this season ;-) |

| Comments: | Racing on Sunday 7th May - 11.00am start, No bikes/quads allowed to be raced (this is a council restriction, so we are very sorry to all the kids who have enjoyed our previous meetings where they have been allowed to ride.)
In answer to the previous message, we still had a couple of rollovers but nothing serious! The track has been worked on over the winter, but this has made it very fast!!!!! See you on Sunday Debbie |

| Comments: | On a recent visit to the local council offices, by chance I got talking to one of the admin staff who dealt with the complaints made against our club last year. I understand these originated from a small minded bunch of residents in the villages of Corse Lawn & Eldersfield.
I also got a sneak view of one of the letters from a resident in Corse Lawn heading up the anti – autograss campaign. A pretty damming letter !!! , unfortunately I was not permitted to take a copy, but I did jot down the contact details for the complainant. Sorry I don’t know if this is a Mr or Mrs. (Address removed to protect individuals privacy) I’m sure they would welcome our views on continuing with autograss events at hilltop in the future. It’s about time we had our chance to respond to their accusations. It really is a shame that such a narrow minded bunch of petty folk can be allowed to disrupt our enjoyment of motorsport. |
