We, my Husband, Son and I, than 45, 44 and 18 Years old have maked this Walking in July 1980. We Walked from Presatyn to Knighton in 10 day's, after, we visit London, for 3 days. It wasn't an wunderfull walking, we don't forgot it. Mostens we are Sunny wether, only in the Moors it was an little rainy and misty. The landscape was lovely, de people arent friendly and helpfull, only up and down in the beginning of our tour, they are tired, but de Mountains in Switzerland are more higher !. There we maked a. High Tour Walking for 4 weeks from Meiringen, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, to Spiez in the BE and after for 5 days in Wallis, in the Southern from Switzerland, tath we maked it in 1974. I lived in Teheran and Shiraz (Bagh-Eram was two streets away from where my home was,)and also visited Persepolis, Isfahan, Noshahr, Chalus, the Holy city of Qum, and many other places. The Teheran Bazarr was an incredible experience, where I saw silk rugs stacked to the roof, trays of gold jewelry - phenomenal. I loved my time there and made many Iranian friends as well as, Americans, British, and Swedish. It was a wonderful time and I would return for a visit, were it safe to do so. It's been almost 30 years and I know that the cities I used to live in have changed so much. I still can cook Persian and love to treat others with this wonderful food! Paula |

| Comments: | In 2004, I took my first trip to Europe. My destination was Maderia Island. I had the most fabulous vacation and the best time of my life. It was therapeutic, fun and exciting. The Island is beautiful, the waterfalls, flowers, ocean, the people, the colors, the food, the homes and buildings - I could go on and on. The people on the Island were so friendly and helpful. I toured the West an East side of the Island along with the Nun's Valley. I spent the day at the beach in Faial. Went to the museum in Machico and to dinner in Santana. I also toured the monte Gardens by taking the cable car and shopped in Funchal. Went to Camara De Lobos for dinner, drinking and dancing at the Casnio in Funchal with locals that I met on the Island. I plan to visit the Island again. I plan to take the ferry to Porto Santo. Love Madeira Island. |
