During one Friday Plus programme with Rezwana Choudhury Banya the discussions missed a vital point. I knew she was very fortunate to stay with legendary Kanika Banerjee (we called her "Mohordi") and learn Rabindra Sangeet in her close touch. I called her during live programme and reminded her of this very important turning point in her singing career. She immediately responded and during most of the remainder of the programme she talked about Mohordi. She admired her immensely and told about their close "Guru-Shishya" relationship. They were very intimate like mother and daughter. I felt very happy that my call made the viewers know about that very important aspect of her life. |

I am a Bangladeshi from Boston, MA. I was born in Bangladesh; however, I grew up here. Despite the fact that I grew up here, I love Bandladeshi programming. I am involved in the community development organizations for many cultures (India, Saudi Arabia, etc.) and when I look at their achievements and our (Bangladeshi) achievements, I see a vast diference. These other cultures seem to be light years ahead of us in every way I can think of. They have had programs in their language from few years ago...we are just starting off. Anyways, I am not writing to complain, I am writing to appreciate what you all, at BanglaTV, are doing. You all are great! Thank you and please keep up the good work; you are making steady progress. Now that you have things running more smoothly in New York, I think it is time for you to expand to the other states like Massachusetts or at least inspire people to do what you are doing, in New York, here in Boston. sir congratulaions to ececute such an esteemed channel. i m a man of hope to be a script writer. i can write various tv play scripts. i think i have some extra-ordinary ideas for tv drama both single and continuous. i completed film aprreciation coures. i have already written some scripts. these were appreciated by some script writer. two producer has taken it. but they r being ignored as i m quitely new in this area. sir, were u not new once upon a time? i think u can lift me. i can assure that if u do so i will be highly grateful to u. pls do smoething for me. i can send u some scripts or idea if u require. i m always ready to contact with u on mobile / email / physically. i don't have practical experience. but i studied on script. i m waiting to hear from u as early as possible. |
