| Comments: | This is a fantastic site! I am a US fan who can't get enough of Inspector Barnaby, Troy, Joyce, Cully, George, Scott and now Jones as well. I have recently purchased all the episodes available over here and now can see just how many I am lacking for my collection. I recently organised an all region player and plan to take advantage of the wonderful availability of the remaining episodes from Amazon UK. Since Midsomer Murders is no longer shown in the US It is great to find these available and I look forward to catching up with the rest of the UK fans. | Comments: | Great sight. Didn't know that the series was still be produced. That is great. Here across the pond in the colonies, we haven't heard of or seen any new Midsomer Murders for awhile. My wife and I enjoy the series very much. Fortunately, we have Net Flix and can get the series on DVD from them through season 9. I am sure that Net Flix will soon start adding the rest of the series. At least we hope so. Looking forward to coming back to the site often. |

If any of you are in Scotland, you may be disappointed that the latest series is not being shown on STV. This from my website my prove helpful.... A new series of Midsomer Murders started on ITV1 and UTV on Wednesday 22nd July, 2009 at 8.00pm. Unfortunately, it is not being shown on STV, but viewers who have Sky, can see it by going to channel 993 (which is ITV1 London), and you can also manually tune in any ITV1 region and UTV. You can see on my TV & Radio Page, for how to do this. Viewers on Freeview (Digital-Terrestrial) and cable will be able to see it as I understand it is to be shown on ITV3 soon. |

Missed "Gavin Troy" when he left, "Dan Scott" was a good actor but no chemistry between him and Barnaby - cold and stilted interaction, but then here comes "Ben Jones"! What a treat! I particulary watch his expressions (in the background) when Barnaby volunteers him for something - like hiding in a closet for several hours. He is a genius of the "understated" and has a wonderful sense of humour.
Wish Barnaby's wife Joyce had a bigger part in the episodes. |

The problem is I cannot get the latest and newest in the United States so I have to order thru U.K. sites at considerable more cost but it is worth it. However, I have run into one problem. Amazon UK lists one episode as the 'Black Cat' and I can query on that name and get a number of hits. But the episode guide lists the 'Black Book' and serveral sites carry that name. Are they different episodes? Amazon could not answer it - can anyone? I hope the serie can go forwever. |

| Comments: | Hi again i just realized John Nettles is retiring which is very sad. I hope he reconsiders. He has been the DCI for so long here that he is irreplacable. EXCEPT by Daniel Casey whp played Sargeant Gavin Troy. He was very much loved by the viewing public and we saw him grow up.
He would be accepted as the obvious and natural replacement to John Nettles. GET HIM BACK. |

| Comments: | Hello, just a note to say i just love this series. I live in Australia and own 10 dvd's. I am curently watching it for the 3rd time but if it is on tv i watch it anyway on ABC1. I love the English coutryside and the way of life. It is a well written series with fabulous actors starting with John Nettles who is the consumate policeman.
I have enjoyed all the sargeants working with Chief Inspector Barnaby. Daniel Casey i believe was the one who was the funniest and i miss his cheekiness. Anyway keep up the excellent work. I hope the series just keeps going on an on. By the way exactly where is Midsomer? Is it in the midlands somewhere? The villages are real ones. Where is this series filmed? |
