I am now 39 years old, and i'm proud to say that my 11 year old son loves to watch it with me. His favorite part is at the end, when it shows your faces after seeing Sandy in her black outfit. I greatly enjoy your performance as Prof. Erasmus Q. Tinkerputt in the Barney video, Imagination Island. When I first saw you in this video, I thought, "This guy *has* to be a professional--he adds a level of entertainment, professionalism, and just plain talent not generally seen in the Barney videos." I looked you up, and sure enough, you're a big Broadway star (...as well as being Doody from GREASE, which is huge). I have to say, your performance as Prof. Tinkerputt in that video legitimately makes it the only really enjoyable Barney video for an adult. You add such dimension to a role that could have been pretty bland/boring done by someone else. Really great work. Seriously. |

I thoroughly enjoyed Happy Days tonight in Huntsville, AL. I grew up on Happy Days and idolizing Fonzi so I have been looking forward to this show all season! I have to admit, I didn't realize you were a member of the cast, but from the first time you spoke on stage a sudden feeling of recognition washed over me but I couldn't place you. When I had the chance to read your bio during intermission, I was hitting myself in the head. Yes, you are a bit older than Doody but you still sound exactly the same and you brought back even more memories. Many thanks for a wonderful evening and I am so sorry the shows have not been better attended in Huntsville. | Comments: | Barry, It was such a pleasure seeing you last night at the cast party. The show was wonderful, and my friends and I enjoyed it so much. Talking with you brought back some great memories of Lancaster and the Fulton Opera House. I spent many hours there and loved being on her stage. I read your bio and didn't realize you went to Carnegie-Mellon. I didn't graduate from there (I transferred to F & M after freshman year), but I started there as a dance/drama major under the great Paul Draper. It was an interesting experience but I had so much fun at F & M, where Treat Williams and I got to play the leads in all the musicals. Now I am the mother of 3 wonderful children who are my life. My youngest daughter is planning to pursue an entertainment career. She would like to be a professional dancer. She is really talented and plans to head to LA after she graduates high school next year. She's already done two commercials (one - a national spot with Qwest Communications). I can only wish her luck. I tried to make it in New York for two years. Then reality set in. I still sing professionally but in smaller venues. Anyway, it was wonderful seeing you last night. I hope the show is a huge success. You all deserve it. If you ever talk to Maxine, I have a picture of the two of us dressed as Queen Esther. I'd send her a copy. Enjoy Phoenix (I've been here almost 20 years and just love it. If you come through town again, drop me a line and maybe we could get together. We're almost like family.
