This is the first time i've been on your site! Great pics! There is a few other pics you could include and that's of the Kitty Rooms. They are GREAT! Lots of levels, and the outdoor flap is a great idea for the cats to be able to get some fresh air and sunshine. My cats LOVE that room. I have taken my cats, Puzz, Boots and Mittens to Sandra for... gee... probably 7-8 years now. Puzz is now gone, but I know Mittens and Boots are well taken care of while they're there on vacation. Sandra has a true love of animals... and you'll never find a better place for your babies when you need some TLC for them while you're away. It's very rare I don't worry about my cats when i leave them... even when they're home alone... but at Woodlands, I can drop them off, and never worry about them. Which leaves more time to enjoy why you're getting away in the first place!! I live in the Annapolis Valley, and have recommended Woodlands to many people here. It's worth the drive, and on the way to the Airport! :-) Thanks Sandra! |

I was at your pet resort today and i brought my dog with me and when it was time to go she did NOT want to leave i tried and tried,but she wouldn't Budge i've tried so hard to make her stay but she just won't it was like a merical I'm hoping i will save up enough money to bring her there sometime very soon, she absaloutly loved it there. My heartfelt thanks for Saving the little stray tabbie that was brought to the kennel after he was found on a back round, cold, starving and very very weak. Your proffessional experience knew exactly what to do!!! Sight unseen I knew, if he survived, My heart needed to give Tigie a home. It's Jan 05, Tigie is a happy robust kitten almost 5mos. old, and will never be cold nor hungry again. He sleeps everynight on my pillow. We will be up to visit soon. | Comments: | Hello, I was just looking at your web page of your business and it all looks fantastic. I always say that I would not let my dogs stay any where I would not stay. We have 11 dogs in our home and vacations seem a little tough at times when trying to find a dog/house sitter. I really would consider leaving my dogs at your kennel, it looks like it would be a home away from home for the canine kids. When I learned I'd be off to Afghanistan for 6 months, it was an easy decision to leave Ruby with you - she'd been with you a number of times and is very happy with you. Now, I guess she may not greet me on my return, wiggling in delight and anxious to go for a drive. She will have spent her last spring content and comfortable, well looked after with hip massages and lots of personal attention. Thank-you for looking after her, and being a friend to each of us. | Comments: | My husband and I took a vacation in late March, leaving our two little "babies", Oliver and Bailey, in the care of Sandra at her wonderful resort. While we were away, Oliver,our three year old Peek-A-Pom, became ill. Nothing serious, but, non the less, we were worried.And we were so far away!We had nothing to be concerned about. Sandra took such good care of him. She took him to see his vet right away and administered prescribed medications for a week and a half prior to our return. She consulted further with the doctor when she felt it was necessary, and, in my opinion,,gave the same loving and quality care that we would have if we were there!!! We were so relieved to find our two little dogs happy and healthy when we returned from our vacation. Woodlands Pet Resort gets a two paws up in our books!!! Thanks again to Sandra and her wonderful assistant for all the love and care you gave to Oliver and Bailey!! See you again soon!! P.S. Oliver looks and smells so good since you groomed him!!! |

| Comments: | My husband and I , along with our two little dogs, Oliver and Bailey visited Woodlands Pet Resort last weekend and are still in awe of this wonderul place. We are so relieved that we have found a place such as this for our 'babies" to stay in while we travel. Oliver and Bailey enjoyed exploring the facility and they will be first time guests this coming weekend! I know that they are going to be very well cared for! The kennel is clean and bright and the accommidations are top notch, probably compareable to a "5 star resort" for humans. I have been telling everyone about Woodlands! |

| Comments: | I wanted to take the time to write a little note about my own
experience with Basin View Pet Resort, and proprietor Sandra Churchill, who cares for my year old German Shepherd, "Brodie." Many folks require only occasional care for a pet, but my needs were for dog care a daily basis. I was acting as a foster parent to an abandoned dog, but was having a hard time juggling work and dog-care. Although I employed a dog walker to come in to my home a couple of times a day to take Brodie out for walks, a high spirited, energetic dog like Brodie needs (deserves) more attention than that and was getting bored and anxious when left on his own for too long. It was looking like I'd have to move him on to another foster home when a friend told me about Basin View. Sandra has been extremely flexible and accomodating with my needs and also with Brodie, who is learning discipline and has become a much better behaved dog since he started 'dog- care'. On occasion I have even found him visiting with Sandra for some "one on one" time in her kitchen! This kind of personal care has translated into a dog who is adaptable, well socialised and non aggressive. I really believe I would have had to give him up if it had not been for Basin View Pet Resort. As well, Sandra has the skill and experience of a trained R.L.A.T.- I am totally confident Brodie is well and safe in his home away from home.(It really is like a resort, great view and all!) I would like to thank Sandra for the wonderful care she provides, and I recommend her facility highly to anyone looking for pet care that is beyond just a kennel, and more like home. |

Pet Resort during Xmas, 2000. The care that Missy received was the best we have ever encountered. This is a top notch business. Sandra goes above the call of duty. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing any of the services Sandra supplies. Sandra even stayed home on Xmas evening so our daughter and Missy could be together upon our return home. This we will never forget. |
