I think we have met, did you, quite a few years ago have a forest guardian/minder/keeper bear at the Liverpool show for approx $800 ? - I couldn't afford him but always think about him,(someone bought him while I was still thinking !!!!) he was spectacular!!!!!

I have been crafting and teaching for many years now, and have decided this year to try a series of limited addition bears. I am really happy with my progress so far, and have generated a fair amount of interest. I find it very daunting, virtually working in the dark, as it were, but am encouraged by the results so far. I love everythjng I have seen here, and am inspired to keep going in the hope I might meet with a little success before I drop off the perch! Up until now all my projects have been gifted to family and friends, or priced to just cover costs. i don,t have a web page yet, but hopefully it will come, when I,m really up and running. but also to the point of being able to market my bears. I have thought about making my own to sell, and I believe I am going to do it, very soon. I really need to know how difficult it may be to begin to manufacture bears I have no guidelines to tell me how to get started with making bears for a hobby/living or how to get them marketed. I have a daughter, Rebecca, who has been living in Australia for a few months. She is living in Melbourne. She just loves it there. I see by your website you have a very talented daughter. She put together a very eye apealing beautiful page. I love her choice of colors. It brings the words quickly to my attention, and yet easy on the eyes at the same time. The font used was very good. The added colors in the font was a delightful surprise. Pretty clever and a sense of good taste, your daughter has a good sense of style. You will continue to be proud of her I'm sure, as I know she is very proud of her Mom's artistic accomplishments as well. What a team!!! |
