I recently just starting using my sewing machine and just made my first apron top. I'm so excited. LOL. It's a little rough, and I need work on my sewing. It's become a new favorite pastime as I have serious joint problems and can't do as much any more. Your story is truly inspiring. I don't know what my beliefs are, if there is a savior, I just dont know, I havent figured that out. What I do know is that there is life/energy everywhere. I too, had the same feelings toward church and religion as you before I seen it in my own "come to terms light". I too, was into the party scene during those days. I also lived many concerts with the same kind of chemicals. It seems like yesterday-yet so far long ago.
It was great to know someone else out there in the world is like me.

Comments:Wow! Great testimony! I happened on your site while looking for ankle length skirts. I am a born again Christian (with a testimony quite similar to yours), for modesty purposes I have felt lead to only wear ankle length skirts/dresses and I have a hard time finding anything that is pretty and feminine. Although I cannot afford your clothing (oh but I wish I could) I would encourage you to post your website on a modest apparel web listing, as the "skirt wear'n" Christians have a hard time finding skirts like you have.

I was quite touched by your testimony...I was raised in a "religious" home, and have become a bit jaded in regard to God's love and his promises. You've certainly given me a push in the right direction, and a much needed one at that.

I am a single mom with a 9-year-old son. He was diagnosed with cancer when he was 4, and is now cancer free but living with a heart condition as a result of chemo. We have lost 7 of his friends (all children) to cancer in the past 4 years, and that has been very hard on both of us. Then, I was recently diagnosed with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis after 2 years of severe anemia and other disabling symptoms. Now my doctor has called me this week to set up extensive testing for breast cancer because after 2 mammograms & an ultrasound, they think I have a solid tumor. Both my grandmother and great-grandmother died from breast cancer & my mother is in the early stages of it. WOW!!!, right?

Anyways, sorry to bend your ear (or eye LOL) but the point is after hearing your story and feeling that you are someone "like me" (I was also quite the party girl for several years), I feel encouraged to try again. Who knows, maybe I will be able to start fresh with new eyes and a new spirit for God's word...I'll keep you posted!

Also, I live in Lake City (just north of Gainesville) - do you know of a good church in this area?

I have a fabric basmati rice bag just lying around and waiting for something exciting to happen to it. I must admit that I came to your site by mistake, I was on someones computer and I typed beeyeglad at the top and came directly to your site.
