Comments:I've been dyeing your 1 ply yarn very successfully for a bit now. I find it takes the dye well and the colors are coming out nice and bright. This is great for sock yarns and it washes and wears well.

Cusomers have been very complimentary about your worsted weight yarns and love it for sweaters and thrummed mittens.

A great Canadain yarn and right here in Ontario which is also a bonus.

Comments:I have been dyeing some of your 1 ply yarn and find that it takes to dye very well which makes it great for socks.
My customers are very happy with it and find that one skein is more than enough for a pair of adult socks and then some.
Your worted weight yarn is great for thrum mittens and sweaters. I keep getting requests from customers for more colors. Love the site, it's easy to browse through and informational.

Comments:imagine my delight when i was in the shop attached to the algonquin north wilderness outfitters...to find a mitten kit! "tom!" i said to my husband, "they have yarn!"
"don't we have some of that in the car?" (isn't he cute?) "yes," i said, "but not THIS yarn." i had been fighting with a baby sweater all the way from toronto. what a wonderful knitting miracle to have a vacation from seaming and make that wonderful, puffy, thrummed mitt. i was delirious, i tell you. knitting miracles do happen. next year when we are in algonquin i'll be planning a field trip to your mills. thank you for understanding the need for knitting kits outside a campground.
peace, k. delk

Comments:I was so pleased to find your wool at the local farmers market early one saturday morning here in Orillia , that I told my mother I would love to see where you make the yarn. My mother then suggested that we should take a trip so the following Week we rented a car and drove up. Round trip was 800 kms and I loved every mintue and when we arrived we were greeted with a smile and shown around which my daughter loved as well as my mother. I am so thank full that I have a real place to oder real wool from now. Thank you very much for everything.

Comments:I purchased 4 skeins of pure wool at a knitting shop where I lived in Bracebridge. Looking at the label I mentioned to my mother.."Where the heck is Belle Valle Ont?? I've never heard of the place". Imagine my surprise when I recently moved up north near Kirkland Lake!! hahaha! I am thrilled to know I live so close to a wool shop. My mother knit me a pair of mittens once with pure wool, they were the warmest mitts I've ever owned in my life. Regardless of the amount of snow that would stick to the outside, they were always warm on the inside. I find them even warmer once they've been washed and dryed in the dryer, just to tighten the fibres together...helps keep the wind out. I've since bought 2 more skeins in Englehart and I've knit myself a nice warm hat and working on another pair of mittens...I've been warned about the cold here ! :)
Looking forward to visiting your shop, hope to make it for the open house if the weather is good!!

Comments:Can you help with patterns? At the Trading Post, north of Huntsville, I purchased enough for 3 adult sweaters (softspun - Nat. Lt Grey +) It came with one pattern (canoe, water - trees on the back) I knit one for my daughter, who does not want to have anyone else having the same sweater. Do you have alternative patterns for softspun or advise where they can be bought. Many thanks.

Comments:Hello,

I recently bought some of your single ply yarn from the Yarn Boutique in Toronto (where I live). I bought 10 skeins of natural yarn and am slowly converting it to different colours:

It is lovely yarn! I look forward to making something out of it.

Comments:Hello,
I met you at the Toronto show last October and bought 2 mitten kits. I LOVE them--fun to knit and WARM to wear. in order to finish a second pair of smaller mittens, I need a small amount (maybe 15-20 yards) of the royal blue wool. If you haven't yet shipped to my freind, Bonnie Cummings I would appreciate it if you would include some yarn with her order. If you have already shipped her order, I will just use something I have and make a contrasting stripe. Thank you very much. Sally Howe

Comments:Hello

I purchased one of your Northwoods Roving Mitten during your Open House in December. I would like to know what sizes of skeins the roving comes in and how much they cost. I have all ready made up the mittens and have family members asking for a pair for themselves.

I really enjoyed the Open House that you had and will most likely go to more of them when I am in the area. I would love to take some of my in-laws through the mill because they have no or very little ideas of thing like this.

Thanks Again
