http://web.mac.com/greyburd I was happy to stumble across your videos on YouTube. I've been researching Mastiffs, with the hopes of getting one in the coming months. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a breeder in my area that I felt comfortable with. I found a breeder in Colorado, but still hoped to find one a little closer. And that is you. I'm in Phoenixville, PA..... just a little over an hour away. I'm very interested in hearing about any upcoming breedings. I'm hoping to get a show quality male, either fawn or apricot. But, I wouldn't turn down a good looking apricot brindle.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

What beautiful Mastiffs you have, especially Wyatt. How blessed you are. And I love the caption under the pet expo picture of the little boy describing how big his head is. Too funny! That is the most frequent comment I get about my apricot brindle mastiff also, "His head is huge!" Everyone seems to be awed by his massive head!

http://Andalusiansdesonador.com I breed Newfoundlands but my youngest son (17 and a college sophmore) would like to acquire a LARGE Mastiff in the next few years. I'm also interested in the breed. I owned a rescued Neo and loved her dearly. Just starting to research the breed. I know there are lots of backyard breeders as I have bred for 25 years on a small scale and I want to avoid them.

Love your dogs,

Hello, I love your videos. We have our second mastiff who is 6y/o. Bulky, he is little though, at 140maybe. I someday would love a apricot brindle. I'd prefer a sweet,big-typey head, lots of jowl. We also have 2 pugs that are brothers one from the first litter and one from the last litter. they are 4 and 1 y/o. So it won't be for awhile, but I love the mastiff breed, and think we need to have one always. Our first one,"Burly" lived alittle over 5yrs, died with a rare form of connective tissue cancer. But Bulky is healthy so far, thank God. But never hurts to plan for the future, thank you, Deb Johnson

Hi! Just filled out a puppy application. I guess I am a little too long winded for the spaces and want to write some more! We are definitely looking for a companion for Jake that is larger than he is.(Plus we like big dogs with that wonderfully soft and wrinkly face...) He is so gentle but a BIG bulldog and scares the daylights out of most dogs despite him laying down for them. His best pals now are 2 pugs that hang off each side of his mouth. He LOVES other dogs and plays and sleeps with those not intimidated by him. His best friend (Rosie the Boxer) died this past year. The adult members of the family are also at a place where we can absorb that second dog we've wanted for a long time. In our research - we checked out Dogue de Bordeaux's and actually visited a family of them twice. We feel the English Mastiff's demeanor is a better fit for us all. We picked your site because you seem to care who your animals go to. The puppy application is great and I hope we speak soon. Thank you, Kaylon

PERMISSION GRANTED TO POST AND CROSS-POST THIS MESSAGE

Kris L. Christine
Founder, Co-Trustee
The Rabies Challenge Fund
www.RabiesChallengeFund.org

Two world-renowned giants of veterinary vaccine research -- Dr. W. Jean Dodds of Hemopet and Co-Trustee of The Rabies Challenge Fund www.RabiesChallengeFund.org and Dr. Ronald Schultz of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine -- have volunteered their time to ensure that critical 5 and 7 year rabies challenge studies are conducted in the United States. The studies will be financed by The Rabies Challenge Fund Charitable Trust, a tax-exemption organization founded by Maine pet vaccine disclosure advocate Kris L. Christine in 2005, and will be performed by Dr. Schultz. The University of Wisconsin has waived its 48% overhead fee for the studies.
The concurrent challenge studies will determine the duration of immunity conveyed by the canine rabies vaccine, with the goal of extending the state-mandated interval for boosters to 5, and then to 7 years. According to Dr. Dodds, “This is one of the most important projects in veterinary medicine. It will benefit all dogs by providing evidence that protection from rabies vaccination lasts at least 5 years, thereby avoiding unnecessary revaccination with its attendant risk of debilitating adverse reactions. "
Scientific data indicate that vaccinating dogs against rabies every three years, as most states require, is unnecessary. Studies have shown the duration of protective immunity as measured by serum antibody titers against rabies virus to persist for seven years post-vaccination, and results of a 1992 French challenge study led by Michel Aubert demonstrated dogs were immune to rabies five years after vaccination. Researchers believe the rabies vaccine causes the most and worst adverse reactions in animals and concur that it should not be given more often than necessary to maintain immunity. Adverse reactions to rabies vaccination can include autoimmune diseases affecting the thyroid, joints, blood, eyes, skin, kidney, liver, bowel and central nervous system; anaphylactic shock; aggression; seizures; epilepsy; and fibrosarcomas at injection sites.
Dr. Schultz states “[s]howing that a vaccine for rabies can provide 5 or preferably 7 years of immunity would have great significance not only in controlling rabies but more importantly in reducing the adverse vaccine reactions that can occur in dogs and cats after vaccination."

MASTIFF'S RULE!!
I just happened to visit your website and must tell you that your Mastiff's are BIG & BEAUTIFUL. I had an apricot female 185 lbs.(Nelly aka Miss. Hollywood)who I LOVED DEARLY. She passed away two years ago. It has left such an emptiness in my heart. I miss her sooo much! She gave me so much joy and happiness in her short life. She was my BIG BABY GIRL who was soo beautiful.. I used to tell her she looked like a movie star. I think about her all the time and someday, I want to have another Mastiff to love. They truly are the BEST!!!

I just wanted to say that I am really impressed by your "babies". They truly are beautiful and well cared for animals. I wish that all breeders were as resposible as you seem to be and were in it for the progression/betterment of the breed instead of trying to make buck off of these wonderful dogs. I wish you and you big babies all the luck and happiness you deserve.

p.s. I found your site on youtube.

I am on my second Mastiff.

Harrison, my beloved angel, was 220 pounds and 34" tall. He past away from germs induced by a dirty Vet needle. 1 week of suffering at the hospital.

My second is an appricot brindle, Morgan, a bunddle of joy. He is 14 months old, still 28" tall and 145lbs. He will be short but it is OK!

You have beutiful dogs, loved your videos.
I would like an appricot female some day.

Hello!
What beautiful Mastiffs. We are looking for a male fawn puppy and would like a big beefy guy like Wyatt. I have had Danes before, but I have always wanted a Mastiff and finally my boys are big enough to have a dog. Would love to hear if you have any litters coming up. We are in California and there's not much to pick from out this way that I've come across.
Thanks, Kathleen

I am the mom of Beowulfs Kodiak Balou Moon (14 months old) -grandson of Beowulfs Brijas Smuggler - so I think our boys Balou and Wyatt are distantly related? Balou is my first Mastiff and I'm still figuring out pedigrees so I could be wrong. Anyway, I came to your website because I saw a recent show photo online (a NJ show with an English judge)of Wyatt and thought him absolutely stunning so I wanted to learn more about him. Do you have any puppies for sale as of this month?
What do you charge for a brindle puppy?
