He had a brother John and sister Margaret. William migrated to Australia in 1909 and died 1922. I have been researching his family in Ireland and would like to find something on the sawmill we were told they owned in Belfast. They were said to have imported Western Red Cedar from Canada. We do not have any photos of our grandfather's family in ireland or his mother's family the Berringtons who originated in England. I left Antrim in 1979 for Canada at the age of 21, I was born in Fairfields estate where soon after the family moved to the Dublin rd old estate, 94 Greenview avenue. I went to Ladyhill primary school where my aunt Elizabeth Allen was the principle, After my aunt retired I attended Antrim primary school where Paddy Marks introduced me to the wonderful game of hockey, I also spent a couple of years at Maseereene school ( now The Legion),I then moved onto Antrim secondary school for 3 wonderful year,I then finished my schooling at Antrim Tech, I served my apprentiship as a Tool and die maker at Antrim Precision Engineering, located up at the Greystone roundabout. My grandfather William John Carson was born and lived in Antrim, area called gallyhill/whinpark just outside the town. My father also called Andrew Carson used to go and live on the farm during summer holidays and used to talk about it a lot. My research seems to indicate that some of the people in the pictures may be related to me is some way. I have been told by other members of my family that there is a link somewhere to the ulster bar. I can see you have a picture of an Elsie Carson who worked there?
