You may have seen me at the COC meeting in January. I am the Event Coordinator for the I Ride for Mental Health ride on April 10. I hope your club can come and participate. I would be happy to send you a flyer about our ride as well as the club sponsorship form. There is a trophy for the club that raises the most money through sponsorships. Below are the details:
Saturday – April 10, 2010 Austin TX I Ride for Mental Health Ride is an event to raise funds for Planned Living Assistance Network of Central Texas (PLANCTX) which provides support services to adults with severe mental illness and their families in the central Texas area. The ride will include bike games, best in show trophies, club sponsorship trophy, silent auction, music, and food. The ride begins and ends at Cindy’s Gone Hog Wild on Highway 71 East in Cedar Creek with $5 burger basket. The ride begins at 10:00 AM and features scenic views of Texas wildflowers through backroads and quaint communities. Preregistration is $20/bike (includes a tee-shirt) and $10/passenger (additional $10 for passenger tee-shirt). Preregistration is at www.planctx.org. Nonrider admission is $10. My name is Bill Crisp. My friends and I are having a ride in bike show at the Farmer's Market in Temple, Texas on Saturday, December 5th. Admission is a 10 dollar unwrapped toy. The toys will be distributed to underprivileged children by the Temple Police Department. There will be plaques awarded in each category. People’s choice best of show will receive a trophy and 100. cash. There will be vendors. We still have openings for additional vendors.
