Thanks for stopping by. See more about Bells Texas at our web-site. I am a decedent investigator in Orange County, CA. I have come across a photograph of a hotel in Bells, TX. The hotel name is: PACIFIC HOTEL (a two-story, wood framed building). In the photograph there are seven people pictured along with two buggies with horses. The notation on the back of the photograph states: "My Grandfather's Hotel - Bells, Texas - 1900-1905". My decedent is Mr. Eugene H. Phillips, Jr. He was born in Denison, Texas on 5/20/1915 to Eugene H. Phillips of Bells, Texas and Ms. Etta Mary Blackburn of Enon, Missouri. I don't have the name of the grandfather he refers to with regard to the Pacific Hotel in Bells. Please reply back with any information you may have with regard to Mr. Phillips. I cannot find any blood kin to the decedent, but would certainly welcome any information that someone in your city can provide to me. I will also be glad to forward the picture of the Pacific Hotel to someone that will ensure it's inclusion into the city's historical archives. Robert Mull |

And thier place of buriel They grew up in Ga. and moved to Oklahoma. I do not find them after 1910. There is a family legend that Uncle Henry J. Burgess walked away from home one day and was never seen again.He is not in the 1910 Oklahoma census with them. But his father and 3 younger brothers are there.
