| Comments: | Just returned from a fantastic week in Cala d'Or. Our week was made all the better from the great nights out we had at the hollywood bar. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. Mel was very good at getting the crowd going and getting the crowd involved without making you feel pressurized. This was our second visit to Cala d'Or having been July 2010 when we found that is wasn't as busy with noticing that the entertainer last year was singing to an empty bar as we walk passed to the tropical garden. So this year we were drawn to the hollywood bar by the fact that it was busier and livelier. The new management and team have obviously got it right. Keep up the good work. We will definately return next year. |

| Comments: | the hollywood bar is just not the same without tony. just come back today july 16th 2011. we used to go in there every night when tony was there..just not got the same atmosphere now. the new owner though is very friendly she seems really nice..but the woman doing the karaoke now although very nice just hasn,t got that humph to keep people going back. you really need to get tony back to keep the place going |

| Comments: | "I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!" has the owner of the Hollywood Bar lost his mind??? Rumors say Tony was treated like shit last year and the year before but no one knew. I was on holiday 2002, 2004 and again in 07 and 09. I called in the Hollywood almost every night either early doors to catch all the nutters and some really good singers or later in the small hours on our way back to the apartments and all I can say is that no matter how good, bad or whatever time it was TONY was always there to lend a hand and encourage the singers to enjoy themselves. We've just returned from Cala D'or for the second time this year.When we were there in June The Hollywood Bar was fantastic (see earlier post). However, this time it just wasn't the same Bar. There was no entertainment on at all, not even karaoke, not much atmosphere. Paul the waiter "left about 4 weeks ago" apparently, it's just not the same without him!!! The food there is still fantastic, although there was one night when there was no food on either. hopefully it will be better again next year take care, Lynne & Stu |

Thanx to Tony, the best karaoke dj ever! No-one was too good or too bad, some info too on songs sang. I really enjoyed the nights at the Hollywood it was a great atmosphere, met some people from my past, met some new friends also( Freddie and Sue).
