John Bannon Sunday, October 4th 2009 - 07:57:18 PM yaletothecheif@yahoo.com Hello, My name is John bannon I am living in Springfield, Mo. I found some old treasure magazines at a thrift shop and read an article on Judge Whitaker's Gold. I Googeled your town and the old Court House is still standing "I THINK".. Any how I would like to send you all the magazine. It was published in 1971. I was a wee lad of 9. It has some great history that you are probably aware of, but just in case you are not I hope you will enjoy this information. My # 417-207-5844

Nancy Crosier Monday, July 6th 2009 - 10:03:53 AM crosiern@ATT.net http://belmontinn.com If the only meal served is breakfast, and the nearest town is some distance away, do we bring our own food and cook the rest of our meals in our accommodations? Without refrigeration, how do we keep food for several days? We would be a party of 8.

If you aren't aware of it you might want to look it up. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! As a Nevada historian I have always been interested in the ghost towns such as Belmont, etc., and have written extensively about the areas both in fiction and non-fiction. Robert Davis Jr. Sunday, August 13th 2006 - 10:48:08 AM rf_davis@myway.com Just wanted to let the Bergs know that my father Robert Davis Sr. passed away suddenly on July 20th 2006. He had just visited Belmont on July 7th and enjoyed his visit with you very much. I was just looking at a book about Belmont by Alan H. Patera whom my Dad met at the Inn on his last trip. Looking at it made me wish I was in Belmont now. My family history goes back pretty far in the Tonopah area. Some of my oldest memories are stopping at the Courthouse Building on our way out to Pine Creek for fishing when we were kids. And having a drink out of my grandfathers Desert water bag. The family reunion we had at the Inn three years will live on in our memories forever, it was wonderful. We'll do that again. My Dad had written a long story about our reunion there. I thought it was on this guestbook but I don't see it anymore. Anyhow I am glad that my Dad had the chance to visit Belmont, a place he loved, one last time. Robert Davis Jr. Lockeford California
