| Comments: | LOVELY POEMS, I WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO WRITE A POEM FOR MY SON BILL'S CHILDREN. THEY WERE 41/2 AND 3 WHEN HE DIED.MY FAMILY IS PUTTING TOGETHER A FAMILY TREE ANDI WOULD LOVE TO HAVE IT FOR HIS PAGE. HE HAD JUST TURNED 29= 9 DAYS LATER HE WAS GONE. HIS DAUGHTER JULIE JUST STARTED COLLEGE ON A SCHOLARSHIP FOR SOCCOR, SHE IS A GOOD STUDENT AS WAS HER DAD. HIS SON BOBBY IS A JUNIOR NOW AND IS AN EXCELLENT ATHLETE AND STUDENT. MY SON'S FRIENDS STARTED A COLLEGE FUND FOR THEM WHEN BILL DIED. HE WAS A VERY POPULAR BOY IN SCHOOL AND OUT. THEY ALL STAY IN TOUCH WITH US, AND I KEEP THEM INFORMED ABOUT THE CHILDREN. HE WAS SO PROUD OF HIS KIDS AND HE MET GOD 2 WEEKS BEFORE HE DIED. HE NAMED HIS SON WILLIAM ROBERT==SO HE COULD CALL HIM BILLY BOB. JUST A JOKE BETWEEN HIM AND HIS FRIENDS. HE CALLED HIM BUD AND I -- HIS GRANDMA CALLS HIM THE "BUDMEISTER" THE WIFE OF ONE OF HIS BEST FRIENDS WROTE A POEM FOR HIM THE DAY HE DIED AND HIS 4 BEST FRIENDS READ IT AT THE CEMETARY. EVERYONE KNEW IF YOU WERE HIS FRIEND IS WAS A LIFETIME DEAL. HE NEVER FORGOT HIS FRIENDS AND THEY HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT HIM. THAT IN IT'S SELF IS SOMETHING A LOT OF PEOPLE CAN NOT LAY CLAIM TOO. HE ENJOYED LIFE AND HE LIVED IT TO THE FULLEST. WE STILL LOVE AND MISS HIM SO MUCH, THAT WHENEVER HIS NAME IS MENTIONED WE ALL CRY. YOU HAVE WONDERFUL POEMS AND I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ONE WRITTEN, SO I CAN GIVE THEM TO HIS CHILDREN, AND THEY CAN PASS IT TO THEIR CHILDREN SOMEDAY. THANK YOU, MELBA THOMAS. mamaT1942@webtv.net |
