We were originally going for the canoing, but changed our minds before we got there. It was very convenient that you had ice chest for rental and sold ice. I am suffering from a super sun burn today. so my only advice would be make sure you got some good sunscreen on and your trip will be perfect! |

No one gave us any grief, your staff was friendly and gracious and fished us out at the end with smiles on their faces, even tho two of our group got quite drunk during the course of the day. | Comments: | I have made several trips to the Bogue Chitto for tubing excursions I can say that there is really no better way to get out and enjoy the Louisiana countryside. I am from the area and spend a great deal of time boating, but this is totally different. This is floating along in peace, at a relaxing pace, with friends and family. You can take as much of the day as you want stopping at beaches, or checking out the woods, throwing the frisbee, whatever.
The best part is that the river is very pristine. Aside from the stupid idiots who don't pick up their beer cans(if you see some make sure to throw them in your cooler). I believe that the condition of the river is as it has been for a thousand years. It is very green and beautiful and there is very little development on the river. I live out of state now, but every time I go home I make a trip. It's a great day. The people that run the center are very nice, so it's a pleasure just getting to deal with them. LSU fans will appreciate them. Tubin got a bad rap back in the 80's and 90's b/c there were problems with some of the rivers, but this is not the case here. God bless the Bogue Chitto |

I always float from Hwy 98 bridge in McComb, Mississippi.
