I bred and showed Siamese, colorpoints and cornish rex for 20 years under the cattery name Katseye, located in Tampa, Florida and then in Birmingham, Alabama. Retired from that in 1996 but sure miss having a Siamese or colorpoint around. My last OSH neutered darling, GRP Wintara Sunscream of Katseye, died 2 years ago and I only have a Devon Rex spay that I showed in premiership the last year I was active. All those years of Siamese and nary a one did I keep!

| Comments: | My mothers cat is dying (he is 20) she is in love with my Oriental and I am trying to find her a chestnut or ebony kitten that will be ready to come home to her in November, or the first part of December. I prefer that the kitten be spayed prior to comming home to her. I show my Oriental some and would like to find mother a cat that I can show for her in the premier sivision. do you have any kittens that fit this discription? do you know of any breeders in your area that may have kittens that may fit that description? I prefer to have a kitten from the Northeast, as the Orientals up seem t have sharply angular heads and bodies, than those cats here in the south. Please let me know if you can help me on my search. NEVER thought I'd have the 'SUPREME HONOR' of being 'OWNED' by a WONDERFUL, BRILLIANT, CLOWNISH & VERY DEVOTED Oriental Shorthair IN MY LIFETIME!! ~~~Just short of 6yrs. ago I 'RESCUED' a 7mos. old ORIENTAL TORTI CREME as she was 'WILD'(a 'CAGE DWELLER' her entire, OH, SO PRECIOUS Life! (EVEN THE BREEDER WOULD NOT 'ATTEMPT' GETTING HER OUT OF HER 3'x3' PRISON when I 'visited" the Orientals at her home!)***I REACHED IN & GOT HER OUT MYSELF)I named the KIT, 'BLUE WILLOW BEASTIE;' & even tho she was DBL REGISTERED & ABSOLUTELY STUNNING in Every way; NO CHANCE I would subject her to it IF SHE WAS SO SCARED! ANYWAY; The 'STORY' of the BOND THAT OCCURED BETWEEN 'SWEET WILLOW' & myself OVER HER 5 yrs. here on EARTH; KInda "Says it all." *LOVE THOSE THAT ARE HERE WITH ALL YOUR HEART* & SAVOR THE JOY OF THEIR COMPANY!* AS, NONE OF US KNOWS when a 'TIMEBOMB' is going to GO OFF when we LEAST expect it! WILLOW passed away in the arms of 'ME' her *PERSON* CONTENT IN 'KNOWING' I would NEVER LET HARM DOME TO HER!! But, on 9/30/03 WILLOW's prognosis was THE WORST IT COULD BE: ACUTE LYMPHATIC LEUKEMIA.....(NOT FELUKE MY FRIENDS!) WILLOW had NEVER been sick or SHOWED SIGNS of ANY illness til 72hrs. PRIOR to her passing. She just 'WENT DOWN' on Saturday nite; was EVEN WORSE ON SUNDAY. My HUB took her in on Monday the 29th of Sept. for MAJOR LAB WORK, including a CHEM 15, URINALISIS, & 'CBC' testing. (HAVING WORKED 12yrs. AS A VET TECH, I ALREADY ANTICIPATED WHAT WAS WRONG; & SPEANT ALL OF SAT. NITE SITTING UP W/HER AS SHE STRUGGLED TO SWALLOW OR BREATH. The 'WILLOW' I KNEW was GONE FROM HER FACE; I KNEW there would be NO 'REMISSION' or Saving of her; SO I DID WHAT WAS BEST FOR MY BELOVED, COMICAL FRIEND, I owed her NO SUFFERING, NO FEAR, NO PAIN. And, on 9/30/03 WILLOW passed onto the RAINBOW BRIDGE. NEVER WILL SHE BE 'REPLACED' BUT SINCE I LIVE IN NIAGARA FALLS, it is MY GREATEST HOPE to SOMEDAY SOON own a BOJEN KITTEN. |

| Comments: | I took in a siamese cat last winter. I can't imagine how anyone could throw her out, but someone did. Her ears have been frost bitten off. She just has nubs. Her fur was pure white except for her points. The last couple of months it has started to turn tan. When I brought her to the vet he said that she was about 5 years old and had a spay scar. She is not declawed. Our other cats have been declwed when they were fixed (also strays that found there way into my heart). Her fur looks thicker than the photos of your cats, and her body is very muscular. A few weeks of her being in our home she warmed up to us and wants nothing more than to be pet all the time. She is never far from one of her humans. What advice can you give me on this bread. I found your sight to be wonderful!!!
