As far as I know, I am 3rd generation. Never sure. My Dad's dad, so my paternal grandfather, died when my dad was only six. (about 1920,21) he was some form of Joseph Charles Ryan, from Tip. Odly my mom's folks were from Clare, her name was Marion Clare Ryan. Joseph Charles Ryan according to my uncle Judd, who was sharp to his death at 85, told me that his dad ( the same Joseph Charles Ryan) was associated , as Judd said, " with that Italian guy, De Valera" am I a grandson of a GPO veteran? Too many early deaths in the family leave it a question. Maloney is easy, somebody wrote it down about when they arrived. On Mom's side I am 3rd gen. Den Ryan |

I was born at the local seat of the ryans at Abbey Owney (Abington) Murroe, Co Limerick. But I always watched him on TV and to be honest he's the reason I found a love for bikes in my life and he's also the reason I've started wanting to build them for aliving. To me thats was a sign that even though you don't get to meet someone just to see them on TV can touch your life in some speacil kind of way like he did in my life and for the love of bikes. I'm a member a bike group called CMA (Christian Motorcyclists Assiciation) Thanks to Larry I fopund a love for something I never knew was in me he's always going to be in my heart and better then that he's my HERO thanks |

| Comments: | I would like to thank you for your tribute to Indian Larry.I met Larry in San Antonio at the River City Bikefest
in April of this year.I have a now even more cherished picture of Larry & I sitting behind my sewing machines. He is sitting behind my oldest machines, a peddle-power 1901 29-4 longarm Singer. He told me "Ya know this was made the same year Indian came out".I saw him later that day talking to a kid, who was probably no more than 10 or 12 years old.The kid was riding a homemade chopper bicycle. Down on one knee. Larry was pointing out different things he could do to make it look even better.You don`t see a lot of the Discovery Biker Build-Off winners doing that sort of thing. Larry was & allways will be special.Thank you again for you touching Tribute. No Fear Larry is & allways will be In The Wind. |

| Comments: | Your Indian Larry tribute is very touching. A friend of my husbands called to see if we had heard the news about Indian Larry. I told my husband maybe it's just a rumor, but when I went to his website, that confirmed it. I had my picture taken with him in North Carolina and he was so personable after that he become my favorite bike builder. I have an 03 Sportster that I wanted upswept fish tails on, but could not find, so my husband cut and welded together my Indian Larry inspired pipes for my bike. I always said I was going to send him a picture, but didn't. I will now try to live for the moment more often, if it can happen to him it could happen to any of us. Thanks for listening. Again, great tribute. |

| Comments: | I ran the video of the West End Road in Negril (labeled ...from BCC to Grand Lido), all 45 MegaBytes of it. I cringe to think of the internet xmission charges you might get hit with if enough visitors view it.
But I want to say Thank You very much for sharing. It truely gives a flavor of Negril and brings back memories of how many times I've walked that road over the years.
