You and I have never met, but I am Mike O's mom. I have heard so many wonderful things about you. He and his Mrs. speak very highly of you and I have to agree, if Mike thinks highly of a person, then I hope you won't be too disappointed when I tell you that I think you've made yourself a lifelong friend. Your personality and manner of teaching are truly unique from what I hear, and I mean that in more ways than one. When he first started learning from you, I was truly amazed at the quality of his play. Not only was he able to play and practice so there was no mistake about the song he was playing, but the enthusiasm he once had, that I thought had been lost forever, was back in such a way that only a parent could feel and appreciate. I live about 9 hours away from my son, and I can tell you first hand, if he has a lesson with you, he makes his visit short and heads out super early to ensure he makes it to your lesson. Thank you for the time I know you devote to both of them. Your friendship, inspiration and dedication to the giving of your talents, is something you just don't take for granted in this world today. Your expertise shows in the work you produce through your students. You are a treasure and a keeper. I hope that someday we will have the opportunity to meet. You are an incredibly talented and unique teacher, songwriter, etc. I just wanted to write to you and thank you for the inspiration, talent and your wonderful demeanor you share with my son and his wife. thingy unattended, so I wanted to say thank you for your advice while I had the chance. I read what he said about Kobi, and that was OK, but he shouldn't have said all those terrible things about Maya (I remember the name, not like HIM!) Maya is obviously a truly jellicle cat; I'm sure we'd get on well. Since I am a very white dog with gray spots (if I didn't like Tigger so much, I think I'd like Jennyanydots quite well as a name), we'd go well in photos with both of you. insufferably self-centered cat-thing (what do you call it? Inca or Toltec or some such) to know that while Tigger has been somewhat more calm and mellow since her unauthorized correspondence with you, I object to the unwelcome advice she was given! I can take care of my cohabitant with no outside advice required!!! Other than that, the Kobi editorial seemed a little disjointed, but for a first attempt (if he can be believed), not bad.
