One book I didn't find mention of is the short story anthology, "The Game...Short Stories About the Life", published this Summer by Triple Crown Publications [www.triplecrownpublications.com]. So I figured I'd put in a plug for it, not least because it happens to feature a couple of my tales. I haven't seen it in any major bookstore chains yet, but I have found that merchants who specialize in black books usually have copies of it in stock. Keep up the great work here at Book Remarks. My number book is Disappearing Acts. Over the years, I have read this book at least 20 times from cover to cover. Terry McMillan is the ultimate diva of modern contemporary African American fiction. She have opened the doors to so many in the world of African American fiction. There are others who deserve recognition. I have enjoyed reading Sandra Kitt. My favorite Sandra Kitt novel is Significant Others. Also, RM Johnson is another author that I enjoy reading. My favorite RM Johnson is Father Found. |

Of course this will change shortly. I like Vision's female lead character. It was a love story but not drippy like the most romances. It kept me interested.
