| Comments: | i usually have to do projects on contemporary sculptors for my sculpture class because my teacher loves contemporary art. i have been frustrated in this class because i can not stand the sculptures of a square glued to a circle with an organic shape inbetween (and this is the kind of sculptures she loves, mainly because it takes little skill if any to teach such an assemblage of shapes).
i do admit that i was quite starting to hate contemporary art because of this class. i saw these works on this website, and i do like them. they are abstract works, yet very realistic. if only i could learn to do that rather than what we are doing. it is refreshing and some stress is allieviated to know that some contemporary art takes skill to create, and to know that i don't hate contemporary sculptures. |
