under me). You see, she is VERY confused. I am not putting this up to be mean, but just warn you all. She IMed fellow site author Keri and asked if she liked her "brother", Brendan. Keri said yes and said that's not your brother. This girl is a little slow and if it was true that she was Mo's sister, she sure is nasty! She said she lived in NJ, she was 17 and a varsity cheerleader. Now I know this is a lie because she would be living with her parents if she was that young and his parents live in Europe. | Comments: | I met Mo as well several times when he was still a Rat in
Albany. He is one of the best guys that I have met thus far. The most memorable time that I met him, I went to a Rats game against the Worcester IceCats in Worcester, Ma. I took my little sisters along with me 'cause they wanted to see a game and they live in Mass. After the game, which was only two days after Mo came back from his debut in the NHL, we asked someone where we could get autographs from the opposing team and the guy told us that we had to go downstairs. This was one of my first road trips and I didn't realize that you were not supposed to go on the elevator, so we hoped on. We got downstairs and I realized we were right outside of the locker-room with friends and family of the players. I then finally realized that we were somewhere that we weren't supposed to be and told my sisters that we didn't belong there. Being that they were only 6 and 8 yrs old, they got scared that we were going to get into a lot of trouble, so I asked one of the familly members if it was ok if we were there. He asked if we were related to any of the players and I told the truth, he simply stated "Well...Your here now." I found out soon after that it was Jay Pandolfo's father. My sisters were still terrified of getting in trouble and the hid behind me while Jay's dad introduced us to Jay adding that we were his new friends. After having a few of the other players sign my sisters Worcester IceCats books, Brendan came out. I asked him if he would sign the books as well. He said he would and I had to again grab the books from my sisters who were to scared to come out from behind me. I told Brendan why they were so scared and explained that they were scared that they were going to get into trouble. He just cracked a huge smile and looked at my sister Katie who had mommentarily popped out from behind me and said "Don't worry, we won't bite." The funniest thing was Brendan was missing his two top front teeth. As I held in my laughter, I looked at my sister Katie and said see, I told you it would be fine. The look on her face was priceless. When all of the guys had finally borded the bus back home and we returned to my car, Katie finally busted, she said "Chrissy, how was he supposed to bite us? He doesn't have any teeth." I couldn't help I laughed and I laughed hard. The younger of the two, Sam, told me that we weren't being nice and that it was not nice to tease people for the way they look and I preceded to explain to her that if Brendan had all of his teeth, he would not be considered a real hockey player so it was ok. She didn't really understand but I must have laughed the whole way home. Katie only vaguely remembers the whole incident now and Sam doesn't remember anything but being scared down there but everytime I take them to a Rats game, I have to recount the story once again. And everytime I take them to a game now, they beg me to bring them down in the elevator so that they can get autographs. I try reminding them of how scared they were but now they just don't care. We still have not repeated the inncident. |
