I really wish we could just turn back time and have you and Josh back here with us, I miss you so much, I want to call you and have our 3 hour conversations about everything. I want us all to be together again. I know God has a plan in everyone that he calls back home to Him but it is sure difficult for us to understand why. I know your birthday celebration must be awsome in heaven, and I know this one is especially special for you since my sweet Josh is there with you. It is a comfort to me knowing that you were there to meet him and help him, we miss him so much, doesn't seem fair that God had to take him from us. | Comments: | I really thought this would be getting easier with each year, but who ever said time heals all wounds was a liar. I think this year is harder again --one thing different about this year is we are reliving the exact days that we did 6 years ago. Today is Friday and it was around this time we were returning from the Funeral Home and dreading tomorrow service at First Coast.
Momma you are so missed. Not just this time of year but 365 days a year. I hear the message on the TV at night, "it is 10 o'clock do you know where and who your children are with"...it was typically a few minutes later my phone would ring and it would be you "trish where are you...there is nothing that good girls can be doing this late at night"...eventually you learned I was asleep in bed on the weeknights. :-) There are so many things that remind me of you...some good and some sad but I am finding that I am smiling more often with wonderful memories of you. Daddy you done good keeping this up...tried to listen but it lasted about 10 seconds and was clicked back...can't do. To anyone who is still reading this. Billie Jean Franklin was a unforgetable lady...smile and laugh when you think of her...that is what she would want us to do. Love you momma and daddy!!!!!!!!!!! |

Mom, I am waiting every day for you to call and check on us. I know you are having the time of you life in Heaven, but I sure would love for you to be able to just walk down the stairs to earth every now and then. That would be a wonderful wish come true if you could. You should see Jake. He is getting so tall and such a great little boy. We keep telling him that he better watch what he says cause "Ninny always said that his mouth would get him in trouble" - he just laughs. Mom, you would be proud of him. He is in the 5th grade reading on post high school level. He is amazing with his reading. He is doing better in Math, too. Before you know it, he will be with David and I at the highschool. He asked me the other day to be his class sponsor when he gets to the 9th grade and I got it okay'd by Mr. Jacobs this week. You know something, it does feel great writing you!!! Another anniversary is almost here. The one I dread so much... It is still so hard to know you are not here for me to talk to. Richard had his 48th birthday Sunday.. I sent him a card from "us". | Comments: | In looking at this website, I am reminded of the times that we had together. We laughed and we cried at times, but we were always there for each other. As I sit typing (and bawling my eyes out), I am so very thankful for Billie being a part of my life for a season. Her beauty goes much deeper than the physical. Her encouragement and love was shared by everyone. Her testimony went before her as a true witness in the life that she led. There have been several people in my life that have influenced me and most of them are in heaven now rejoicing and sitting at Jesus feet in awe with Billie. I long for the old times and dream about the new times when we all will rejoice together.
Billie Franklin, I miss you terribly and love you, however, I know that you are now pain free and that God wanted you with Him. I miss the hugs and the fun, but now you can look down and laugh at us when we get startle because someone like Richard or Bob creep up on us.
