Sunset Beach/General Hospital update: Not much to report
today alas. On G.H., Felicia is still in the clutches of
her captor, with nary a gag to be found. Plotline is still
ongoing however, so there's still time. Over at the Beach,
Maria is tied back to back with a putz, in a "Scream all
you want, there's no one to hear you" locale. A blond
searching for her was thrown into a closet w/her hands tied
in front and another putz and had the door nailed shut. One
more cutie, not sure of the name, has shown up at the door
of gun wielding doppleganger of the guy tied up w/Maria as
the ep. ended. Could bear watching.

Tonight's Angel delivered big time. Many different shots.
Full treatment no matter what way you score it. Plus
Charisma gets auctioned off. Bruise on her face is my only
complaint.

Pax TV is showing the abduction at the carnival episode of
Bonanza this afternoon (2:00 in my parts). Little Joe's
girl gets the full treatment for the whole hour, at which
point Little Joe contemplates leaving her like she is (the
FOOL - it should have been a two-parter! Now we can only
imagine what depraved things the carnival fat lady would
have done to her!).

In the world of soaps (which a brief illness has just
forced me to observe!), SUNSET BEACH has been very
satisfying. I have no idea of the names of the actresses
but they were mainstream cast members.

I'm not gloating about this, it's just that it may be shown
at different times across the US. (I'm in Phoenix, British
and new to US television).

From the public library I got out THE COLLECTOR, a British
movie from the 60s, which has Samantha Eggar tied up for
most of the second half. The scene where she takes a bath
is one of the best.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer Alert

According to the new TV Guide, the Buffy episode airing next Tuesday (Dec 21) will feature the lovely Sarah M Gellar tied up. First she's netted by her friends in Giles' apartment, then her hands are bound together behind her back--then to the back of a bench. Her feet aren't tied, and she's not gagged. She remains like this for a short time until she breaks free.

Friday the 13th - The Charnel Pit

Thu Dec 23 12 AM SCIFI (Midnight Wed-Thu border)

A college professor kidnaps women to be sent back in time
thru a double-sided painting to the Marquis De Sade. Cyndy
Preston is the first victim. She is intriqued by her
professor and goes back with him to his professor pad where
he blindfolds her and sends her thru the painting. She is
briefly shown in chains, first a shot from behind her and
then a shot from the front as the Marquis is undoing her
chains.

Next up is Christa Daniel who is kept tied up in the
professor's place but is never sent thru the portal.

Robey tries to save Christa Daniel but ends up going thru
the portal. She is eventually chained up by the Marquis but
is saved along with Christa (unfortunately Cyndy Preston's
character is not saved).

There is also a 4th woman who is a French noblesse but her
bonds are not really shown on screen and she also meets an
unfortuante ending.

I have posted caps of Cyndy, Christa, and Robey on my page
which can be accessed at the address below.

Days of Our Lives, for Tuesday, 12/22/99

A Fan -- nice call. Here is some additional information
from a spoiler. Looks like it could be a decent scene:

Kurt has moved Hope out of the turret and into a room in
the castle. He asks Hope if she thought she was gaining her
freedom and tells her sorry but that just won’t happen. He
has her in a chair – bound and gagged so she can’t talk or
get up...

While they are all in the turret, Hope is working on
freeing herself. She manages to scoot the chair over to a
table that has a vase on it and knocks it over and breaks
it. She then rocks the chair and makes herself fall too.
She grabs a piece of the glass and cuts herself. As she is
bleeding we see in Salem that Bo also cuts himself and is
bleeding too. She takes the glass and begins cutting on the
rope and finally frees herself. She is about to leave the
room when she hears a noise and hides behind the door and
hits the person over the head when they enter. It’s Gina
and when Hope sees her on the floor she about freaks. About
then Kurt arrives and grabs her as Gina gets up (apparently
she wasn’t hit very hard). They take Hope back to the
turret as Gina tells Hope that she is taking over her
identity and she (Hope) will stay in the turret like she
(Gina) did many years. Hope says that Bo won’t believe her
but Gina tells her he already has and she will become Mrs.
Bo Brady very soon. They leave Hope in the room as she
screams and bangs on the door for them to let her out.

For those you who haven't seen this, it's like a Spanish version of Candid Camera. Sorry, but there was nothing I could do. Hey, Brian R-how's that move coming?--BG)

Season's greetings, everyone.

For my Christmas present to all of you, I was going to post a book-length epic poem on the millennium, but since it doesn't really end until this time next year, you're spared for another 12 months.

Instead, I think I'll benefit the newbies who've shown up in the past couple of months with another monster alert for everything I either have in my collection or know about for sure that will be coming up in the next two weeks-not just a week this time, courtesy of TV Guide getting next week's issue here a couple of days early to beat the holiday! Nice of them, wasn't it?

As always, all times are Eastern unless denoted as E/P (Eastern/Pacific), the presence of a gag is denoted by "yes" or "no", and I've added details of anything I know of that might affect the sensibilities of some of you. Most of these are in the database; check there for further details.

Here's one more, "Quigley Down Under" TBS 1/4 8pm, Laura
San Guacmo(Just Shoot Me), yes there is a gag. Also the
Xena episode "Locked up and tied down" is on Saturday night
(3:30 am ABC ch2 Atlanta). Of coarse, this post is void
and null if the world is destroyed Friday night.

If 'Forbes for the Defense' is the Dark Justice episode where Carrie Anne Moss is B&G, TNT is airing it on Tuesday January 5 at 5 PM. The summary reads:

Judge Marshall's (Ramy Zada) "Night Watchmen" attempt to stop a deranged public defender who goes on a murderous rampage against drug suspects. With Clayton Prince

"Prey" debuts on the sci-fi channel starting Jan. 9. The
commercial actually shows a close-up of Deborah Messing
tape-gagged. The show produced a couple of scenes during
its brief airing (and many ABC affiliates pre-empted these
episodes with the likes of Dilly Graham). Does anyone know
the episodes that we need to keep an eye out for?

I just caught an extended version of the Sci-Fi Channel's
commercial for Prey, and in addition to a couple of seconds
of Deborah Messing, we're also given an ultra-brief shot
(like one-quarter of a second) of Amy Daniel's tape-gagged
face.

The movie Jawbreaker is on HBO tonight, Sat Jan 1, 2000 at 8:00 pm. I have not seen this, but have seen Moviefan's vidcaps, which show a young woman getting tied up in her bed by several other girls.

Spoiler Alert: Unfortunately, her character later dies, which is a major turn off. But the binding scene alone should be interesting (it certainly looked interesting in Moviefan's vidcaps). HBO will re-run this later tonight (actually early Sunday morning) at 4:30 am. And again on Tuesday night at 8:00 pm.

Andrew Blake's Playthings, Spice Channel
Jan 8, Sat, 10am/pm, 1am/pm
Jan 10, Mon, 8:30am/pm
Jan 11, Tues 4am/pm
Jan 14, Fri 11:30am/pm
For somebody not used to Spice, the am/pm is for the same day and crosses over to that evening so that 1am/pm for 1/8 is 1pm Sat, and 1 am Sat/Sun. The promo for this film showed a considerable amount of bondage, but it is light and playfully applied. Andrew Blake is a director that focuses on sensuality, not damsels in distress.

Not sure of details, but tonight's X Files (FOX 9pm

La femme Nikita, sun.16th, USA network, 9pm EST (check local
listing): A struggling Nikita appears to be shackled to a
couch hand and foot by cuffs attached to wires; I only got a
brief look in a preview.

Jan 18, Tues/Weds, 2:25am & Jan 20, Thurs, 9pm EST, HBO
(about 22 min into the movie): Caracara: Natasha
Hendstridge gets handcuffed and tape gagged. This is a nice
long scene, one of the best I've seen in a while.

Jan19, Weds, 2pm EST, HBO, In the Line of Duty: Hunt for
Justice (about 1:22 after terrorists notice their van is
being tailed & 1:28 min into movie after FBI just misses
catching other terrorists): Two different police
handcuffing scenes, no gag obviously, and short.
