| Comments: | My father is not doing well. I purchased a DVD player and the Twin Peaks DVD/1st season for his Xmas present. He was hooked on Twin Peaks big time. He is going to be shocked that it even exists on DVD. He's never even seen a DVD player. I'm sure he will love this present.
Watching Twin Peaks every single week was as important as his golfing every Thursday. If he had to choose between golfing or watching Twin Peaks, I'm thinkin he would have picked Twin Peaks! Rain Man here. Umm.. is this guestbook supposed to be something you sign just once? am i wearing out my welcome by leaving three entries? i don't knooooww... Anyway, i'd like to assure that no! I'm not mad at you in any conceivable way. How could i be? i think i've finally realized how much DON'T express what i truly feel when i open my mouth... which is, i suppose, part of the reason why people - like the ones at Outback - seem to think i'm weird, or borderline, or something... (It's so funny! When i was in third/fourth grade, i had nicknames like "Professor" and "Brainiac." Now they call me Rain Man, and think that i'm slow! i am in a very weird state right now. Time reference: it has been 4 hours since i left Outback with Amanda to go to Steak 'n Shake to small-talk for an hour or so... and you said, "Ooh, a date?" or something like that... it looks as if i will be awake all night, tonight. With help from Mr. Glass. Not now, but in 3 hours when i wake Gooch up so that he can go to the Year Party! And i can go make salads all day. Boo. (By the way, remember when you said that you were unsure about wearing a bathing suit on the Year Trip if Jenny wore her bikini? Screw that! You're much prettier than Jenny is. Speaking from the perspective of the Greatest Artist and Aesthete in the Universe, of course! :) i hope you guys have a blast on the Trip. Wish i could be there. But! i think that if i stay up all night i'll be in the right mindframe to - to - to try to, er... to tell Amanda that i want to be with her. Aaaaaa-lo! i finally found your page, yaaay! Sorry to hear 'bout your computer being fried. The gods are cruel, petty, and treacherous... Urrgh. Well, i seem to have kicked the smoking habit, now i've quit the drinking habit... and i'm in the crappy detox phase... i'd be dead, if not for my old friend caffeine. i noticed that since i started drinking on a regular basis, i sweat even MORE at work! As the torrents ran down my face one day i said "This will stop!!! Raaargh!!" Wish me luck... From my long conversation with our good friend Mr. Glass, i can tell that depressants are not for me - but uppers are! i have a friend who peddles some sort of herbal weight-loss legal speed, and he swears it gives ya beaucoup energy, and kills any desire to eat! That's what i need. Getting in shape is another one of my goals, too! Cyberfest. I'm dyin', simply dyin' of jealousy! Is you's as big a BT fan as i is? i start getting trained on salads tomorrow! "Secrets" and she smiles. "Tell me a secret." She's been drinking all night. She passed me an hour ago and now all I have is a white noise headache. Meanwhile, she's somewhere between party-drunk and wino-drunk. "Mmmm." I inhale sharply. Breifly my head swims. I worry. "I don't like this game. Always ends in silence and recrimination." "C'mon!" She's laughing now and I can't stop my hands from shaking. Too much of me is spent avoiding this. "It's fun. Tell me a good one." "No such thing as a good secret." "Sure there is. Christmas is always a good secret. Surprise parties, stuff like that." "You want me to tell you what I got you for your birthday?" She laughs and totters over close to me. I wonder how much she'll remember. Too much by far. And now I know it's too late. Her eyes level with mine. There's excitement, true. Also fear and anger, all in equal perportions. I search for strength. Finding none, I search for something to distract her. Music? Too broad. Twin Peaks? Shit, wrong girl. Hesitated too long. Her eyes harden and static builds between us. There's no block and no peace tonight without my revelation. My mouth is dry and I fumble. "Secret..." Buzz is a scream now and I want to scream to release it. "...alright." She's moved to a defensive position, either to receive a blow or give one. I wonder breifly how she makes that look so natural. And since I only have one, I speak. "I cheated on you on this couch."
