Comments:Grandmother, Ada Powell, was botn in Tenby. I went there for the first time in 1945 and camped near the kilns. It was heaven there...even roughing it. Have always felt that Tenby was part of me. Dad's uncle was mayor around WW1. He built a church in Tenby and the Seminary for the Cistercian monks on Caldey. Always marvelled at the courage of the Lifeboat sailors as they seem to go out mostly in the worst weather. God Bless them! Last time I was in Tenby was 1980 but I click on the webcam almost everyday from here in Charleston SC and Ottawa (when I am home). Barbara Ann

Comments:Just found your great website. My Grandfather came from Tenby, he had pictures of the Tenby lifeboats on the wall in his house outside Glasgow. He would regail us with stories of watching the lifeboat being lanched when he was a wee boy, in those days the life boat had no engine and had to be rowed. He was born in 1900 and would return every year for a holiday. Keep up the good work.

Comments:Recent visit to Tenby over first weekend in October; nice to see the project moving along so well. Impressive! Unfortunately noone was there when I knocked on the door of the current boathouse on the Saturday afternoon, but I'll be back again before St. David's Day. Thx for continually updating the web-site.

Comments:Hi
Have just been looking at your web site and think it is really excellent - well done. I know Tenby well but I have not been since work started on the new boathouse. I took some aerial photograhs of Tenby a few years ago and was wondering if you have any aerial shots of the the new boathouse. ]
again well done
regards
Geoff

Comments:Hello to all at home. Off the East Coast of the US at he moment in a large joint Amphibious exercise with the USN.
Here until the 23rd embarked on USS Nassau with the UK command staff. Weather here is a mild 30 degrees with plenty of sun but a bit humid by Tenby standards. Food is good but the beer is non-existant. RFA Sir Galahad part of the exercise and just a few miles away from us. Got to get back to it now.
See you all in a few weeks.
