On Ken Rockwell's Site about "It's not important what camera u use" was a link to your site describing you as a worldclass photographer who thinks first about the picture, not expensive equipment. Your photos kept me looking at the monitor for minutes. Since Rockwell says it is not about the price of the camera, but mastering it. You must be a true master of your camera. Wish I become a master some day, too. Thanks for inspiring.

Hey Bruce,

I found your photography whilst browsing for Torres del Paine features on youtube. I was lucky enough to spend 5 days trekking in the park last February and it blew my mind. I've never seen anyone capture the raw beauty and yet sinister nature of the vast wilderness quite as well as you have. Your photography is just stunning and truly inspirational. I love your choice of composition and lighting. Great Salir de Uyuni shots also, but in my view, nothing can compete with the raw natural splendour of Torres del Paine and Patagonia.

Hi Bruce, I just wanted to let you know how much you've inspired me to combine my music with my photography. I too was very involved with music comp and production and now that I have caught the bug for photography, I've been not been doing as much music. Your wonderful podcasts have inspired me to start writing music for my slideshows as well. I will also try adding the voice over, however, I don't have the luxury of having a great accent such as yours. As soon as i have something put together on the web I will send you a link. Its amazing to find that someone else shares my passion and abilities both for music and photography.

Well done sir. I am a definite fan!

Hello Bruce,
I wish to thank you for your beautiful and inspiring photographs. Your original visualizations are giving me new enthusiasm, I had almost forgotten photography can be a precious artistic expression and not a mere aesthetic exercise. I love the colour quality of your pictures, almost pictorial, a colour that is rich and intense but never unrealistic. Your podcasts titled Lost in Iceland and Lost in Norway are little jewels, the beauty of images and words are astonishing.

Hi Bruce,

Needless to say how awesome and amazing your work is .. Its simple mind blowing. I saw your portfolio on India. I loved it but I just have one complaint ( but I can't blame you for that) Anyone and everyone who go visit India end up taking photographs of poor people, and the poverty .. these might be good stories to capture but India is lot more than that. Look at the developed cities, meet the educated class there, photograph them as well. Capture the cities as well, so much art and culture and history is offered by this ancient country.

I have become a big fan of your photography .. I am an amateur photographer .. I have a regular job but I take out time for this passion of mine. Not as awesome as you but this (http://tinyurl.com/karankauchhur) is what I am about :-)

I've recently discovered your work via Darwin Wigget's blogsite. Your work is superb but your slideshows are magical and inspiring. I only wish I could understand English as well as Spanish (my mother tongue). Anyway I'm able to understand 70-80% of your narration, enough to be carried away to the magical places you have visited. If you don't mind I'll post a reference to your work in my blog.

I'll be grateful if you have time to visit my website (www.efferra.com) and sign my guestbook.

Keep up the inspiring work!

Bruce, I happened across your work in a very strange way - I've had the good fortune to share a taxi with your MOther on her way to collecting her 30! I've been taking part in the same hospital exams as her, and we stay quite close to each other so we share a cab! She is a wonderful lady - but then you know that! Your photographs are absolutely wondrous - you are uniquely talented, that is beyond doubt.

Hi Bruce;
Awe inspiring shots, they are so beautiful and poetic.
I came from tropical country and this is my first time in 4 season country. My friend have been telling not to go anywhere especially in winter, but certainly they are mistaken. Your pics makes me wanna go to the highlands now. I am not photographer and all I have is a Sanyo Xacti Handycam, but I am super eager to enjoy the serene beauty of winter in highlands. Sorry this is not a photography question: I plan to leave from Glasgow, which part of he highland will you recommend me to go and how, and lastly you mentioned a 10 GBP caravan, where can I book that? Hi there Bruce!
I found your website while looking for articles about long, night photography. But I found much more interesting stuff in here. You have an interesting style, wich tend to the surreal, images dark in the edges, but clear and with vivid colours. I read most of your articles on the site, I believe, all of them great lessons. One of them I liked the most was the one where you say that equipment is not everything, but the eye, mind and feeling of the photographer, the camera just being the means to an end. Your pictures of the nuclear plant really amazed me! Ive been to some industrial places like that (Im a Mechanical Engineer) and next time I visit them, Ill sure try to do some interesting pictures. Your pictures in Patagonia, Los Glaciares are awesome too! I Hope to visit that place someday, I live in the south part of Brazil.
Congratulations on your work!
