Hello to you. I have to say I really enjoyed your website. Pat sent me a link to something and your link was there also and I just couldn't resist. Your music is so enjoyable, as are you. The four of us really must find time to get together again. Keep up the good work.
Love ya,
Beth

comments:Hey Bryan!

Good question.

I'd say live music is thriving in the Bay Area, as long as you're not concerned about making a living at it. :)

Seriously, I've met lots of fun and fine folks (includign yourself) in the past six months, since deciding that I was supposed to be a musician (insert epithet of your choice here) and not a cubicle dweller.

And I've been playing all sorts of different stuff I never would have considered playing before: Rock covers? R&B keyboard? Lil ol' me? Whuh?

To my surprise I've discovered that not only are all these different genres kinda fun, I'm actually kinda good at some of them. Whooda thunk.

But let's face it: the part-time totally nonmusical day gig that dropped into my lap, and clearly not "the music scene," is what will help me avoid living in a cardboard box under the freeway. So much for them crazy dreams.

Ahh well, this way I get to enjoy music instead of turning into a complete mercenary, I guess. :)

Just my two cents, which I now can spare!

Guilty - this is easily one of the best all-

throughout the whole song.
Keep up the excellent work!

comments:First impressions: Wow! Roller Coaster of the songs. I'm surprised you guys are even on NumberoneMusic. You should be out there! One hell of a first impression. You've plundered long and deep here. Nothing samey and not repetitive at all. This is seriously catchy stuff. What more can I say, those songs are just really good. Gets me in a good mood! And the vocals are perfect. Well, so is the band.
Very good...playlist time!

comments:Thanks Lon bud,
I had planned to switch to my Strat for Temptress. But, time constraints and such... As it was, I was playing Mike Fleming's Martin.. the strap was fixed in a high position, which I didn't much like, but the guitar sure plays nice.
Ran it thru my Marshall overdrive channel, and that clip has the portion of the tune with the wah pedal engaged, too.
They're using Temptress as theme music for the show, yay! :o)
Good to see you at the Utah the other night. Thanks for lending me your axe to play.
