I lived and worked in Memphis from the mid seventies to 1986. I worked at Bad Bob's on Brooks when Tiny and the Bondsmen were the regular band. We had Jerry Lee a couple of times too. The other waitresses all warned me that JL would sometimes get screwed up and cuss at the customers, but both times I had the privilege of working on shift with him, he just gave AMAZING entertainment! Such energy! We had Willie Nelson one time too, and when I went back to the kitchen to pick up a food order, it was permeated with marijuana smoke. Oh, how I ADORE the seventies and old Memphis! | |
