| Comments: | I feel helmet laws are for those that choose to wear the damn things. I live in Georgia for the past few years. Moved here from Indiana where there is not a helmet law and how nice it was, not having to wear one. At first I was hesitant not wearing one, for I grew up in Michigan having to war one for all motor sports. Whe I decided to not don the lid, I felt more free and was actually more aware of my surroundings for the helmet was not in my way from looking backwards at traffic or blocking partial periferal vision. Back in 1985, my Father-in-law died on his Harley with a helmet on-----HE LOST HIS HEAD in the accident. So, in a long argument from pro helmet pinheads who keep forcing this law down our throats, HELMETS DO NOT SAVE YOUR LIFE, biker's save their own asses by being alert and avoiding 4 wheeling, cell phone using bimbo's and jerks on our roadways. Rant off and thanks for the good read. |

| Comments: | Hey, thanks on the heads up on the generic for Diflucan. I thought I heard a rumor. I have been back and forth with Pfizer in regards to the compassion program they have. This sure will make perscriptions alot cheaper since my hubby is taking 400mg daily. He unfortunately got VF in Sept. 2000 in AZ. It disseminated into cocci meningitis and the fun had yet to begin. To make a long story short, we had to move out of the area, live in IL now. He has been in sort of a remission since. Now just making sure his immune system doesn't go down due to the flu, pnuemonia, etc. If we would have know that moving into AZ might have killed my husband, we sould have never left IL. |

I moved to Missouri three years ago and lost almost all desire to ride wearing a helmut that won't save my ass at 60 mph anyway, and makes it uncomfortable in 90 degree weather and partially blocks my vision at intersections. I just recently regained the desire to ride 3 weeks ago when I bought a brand new motorcycle. As usual, cars don't look for us and an old man in a Camry rear ended me at a red light yesterday. Luckily he didn't hit me that hard and my VTX is made more sturdy than his plastic bumper because surprisingly there was no damage, just a reminder to me that if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time, it won't matter if I'm wearing a suit of armour, my number might be up. |
